SullyMcGully
Who was president when all of your favorite songs came out? For me, it would have to be Ronald Reagan, with Bill Clinton as a close second. I'm interested in seeing what you all think!
EricaofRenais
most of my favorite songs are early 2000s so George W. Bush would be the main one, followed by Barack Obama then Bill Clinton.

Dark Holy Elf
Teenager in the 90's here, so Bill Clinton. With honourable mentions for Johnson/Nixon and Reagan/HW Bush (oddly not much from Ford/Carter though).
Faustino
Quite an interesting topic here. But if you must know, most of my favorite jams came out when Bush and Obama were still president.
Ertrick36
A lil' bit of FDR, a bit more of Truman and Eisenhower, quite a bit of JFK and LBJ, some Nixon, Ford, and Carter, and plenty of Reagan, with a smidge of Clinton and Bush. Actually, considering a couple of my favorite bands are 90's/Millennial bands, I might be underestimating the influence of the last two. Though as far as what would be "pop" for the times, the list I gave is very representative of how I felt about music throughout the times. I like to listen to both "dad" and "grandpa" music, and don't much care for what's popular nowadays. A bit close-minded, but I mean... It's music. Who cares how I feel about it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ping
As far as modern music goes, my answer would be similar to @Ertrick36's. However, hipster that I am, I'll add James K. Polk, Andrew Johnson, and Grover Cleveland to the mix.
