Maybe.  It also helps that I'm not fully thinking straight.

Regardless, I'll do what I can to make sure this game doesn't end in a universal loss, even if I was mad enough to let that happen yesterday.

The lack of night kill really feels like Maria's best move over Baroness', though.

I'd read it backwards - is Grim casing Baroness for most of the game townier than Honeybottoms jumping onto Maria?

Like, that's one of the things that's bothering me - Honeybottoms' tone is really off when she's casing Maria.  What I can't tell is why her tone is so weird.  Is it because she knew she was lying, or because she was panicking?

Why was Cala's D4 stronger than me D4?  I don't really remember her doing anything except voting me and stating possibilities of who could be my scum buddy.

You can thank your shitty interaction with Wally for that.

i think you guys are both mixing up d4 and d5. d4 was the sally lynch; you guys are talking about d5 where wally and baroness argued and cala talked about who could be his buddy

Probably.  Again, my brain's not in the best of shape.

Anyway, should I hammer?

Cala Maria, the Vanilla Townie, has been lynched, leaving Captain Brineybeard, the Vanilla Townie, and Werner Werman, the Vanilla Townie, to be endgamed by Baroness Von Bon Bon, Mafia Godfather!

Congratulations to the Mafia for winning Cuphead Mafia!

- kirsche (Wally Warbles) - Town Macho Cop
- Boron (Beppi the Clown) - Town Doctor
- Clarinets (Djimmi the Great) - Town Timewinder

- Walrein (Rumor Honeybottoms) - Mafia Goon
- Paperblade (Grim Matchstick) - Mafia Roleblocker
- Shinori (Baroness Von Bon Bon) - Mafia Godfather

Vanillas:
- Marth (Cala Maria)
- eclipse (Werner Werman)
- BBM (Captain Brineybeard)
- Via (Cagney Carnation)
- Michelaar (Hilda Berg)
- Bartozio (Sally Stageplay)
- Refa (Dr. Kahl)

- Via

You are Cagney Carnation, a giant flower with maniacal disposition. You've got all sort of seeds and foliage at your disposal, but none that come in handy in a mafia game. All you have is your word and vote to help you acheive victory on here, the final battlefield for extreme pollination and total domination!

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Marth

You are Cala Maria! You're a (rather flirtatious) giant mermaid! You have the entire sea at your disposal! You can turn into a gorgon! But in a mafia game, you just have your word and vote. Sucks!

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- BBM

You are Captain Brineybeard! Arr, you're as much as a pirate as they come! You've even got two peglegs. Your ship's a narwhal, which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, you don't have any abilities beyond your word and vote.

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Refa

You are Dr. Kahl! You're such a good scientist that your robot has a heart and soul! Unfortunately, your robot gave up its soul in a contract with the Devil, which is how you got caught up in all this business. Furthermore, you and your robot have no abilities beyond your word and vote. Sucks.

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Michelaar

You are Hilda Berg! You're a woman with a mean cackle, and you appear to be part blimp, among other things. The Cuphead Wikia says you "also ride a unicycle for no apparent reason", which is just a good sentence in general. Despite your many transformations from your stunt as a shoot-em-up boss, you have no abilities besides your word and your vote.

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Bartozio

You are Sally Stageplay! You're an attention-loving woman making it big time on the big stage. Life is a movie and you are the star. Of course, as the ever-relatable protagonist of this play, you have no special abilities beyond your words and vote.

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- eclipse

You are Werner Werman! A soldier with a stereotypically German accent, you'd think your tank would be good equipment for a mafia game, but it isn't. Mostly because it's made out of a can of soup. Not sure where you'd get your hands on better technology than that, you're a literal rat. An anthropomorphic one, at least.

You are a Vanilla Townie. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- kirsche

You are Wally Warbles! You're a big aggressive bird and family man, ruling the air alongside your son. Though you're no slouch in combat, your son is a tad sharper than you, which can be used to the two of you's advantage -- at night, you may have him ##Investigate a player to learn whether they are guilty or not guilty (he's the brains of this operation, as he says). Unfortunately, you have bad experience with medics (last time they tried to eat you!), so any attempts to save your life from killing actions will have no effect.

You are the Town Macho Cop. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Boron

You are Beppi the Clown! You're mildly maniacal-looking, but maybe being a boss just makes you seem more frightening than you really are? In any case, playing mafia seems like a good excuse to make bad jokes. Your control over the amusement park might just have some application in this game, as well - at night, you may ##Protect another player by sending them off on your high-speed rollercoaster. Killers won't be able to keep up!

You are the Town Doctor. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Clarinets

You are Djimmi The Great! You're a brawny-looking genie with many talents. You've even prepared a special magic trick for this game - once in the game, you may post ##Speed Up in-thread. When this is used, the time left in the day will be reduced by 24 hours. If this ability directly results in deadline passing, lynch will be determined by popular vote rules, even if it is no longer Day 1.

You are the Town Timewinder. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one member of your faction remains. Best of luck!

- Walrein

You are Rumor Honeybottoms! Few things matter more than honey, so you're workin' your colony to the bone (do bees have those? I don't think they do). You know some mean magic spells, too, but nothing useful like Mafiagamus Advantageus or anything.

Also, you have rolled a mafia role! You may chat with your buddies, Grim Matchstick (Paperblade) and Baroness Von Bon Bon (Shinori), in this quicktopic. Each night, one of you may use your factional ##Nightkill on another player. You probably know what this does!

You are a Mafia Goon. You win when your faction acheives parity with the other players, or when nothing can stop the same from happening. Best of luck!

- Paperblade

You are Grim Matchstick! You're no jerk, but you can't help but breathe fire at everybody you meet. What's up with that? Each night, you may ##Roleblock somebody, using your flames to put them in the hot seat and preventing them from using their active abilities that night.

Also, you have rolled a mafia role! You may chat with your buddies, Rumor Honeybottoms (Walrein) and Baroness Von Bon Bon (Shinori), in this quicktopic. Each night, one of you may use your factional ##Nightkill on another player. You probably know what this does!

You are a Mafia Roleblocker. You win when your faction acheives parity with the other players, or when nothing can stop the same from happening. Best of luck!

- Shinori

You are Baroness Von Bon Bon! You've got your own legion of sweet-themed minions, a living castle, the ability to throw your own head like in Decap Attack... What more could a woman ask for? If only you were playing Candy Land and not Mafia.

Your royal standing makes it easy to pull one over on investigators, so you appear as Town to sane cops.

Also, you have rolled a mafia role! You may chat with your buddies, Rumor Honeybottoms (Walrein) and Grim Matchstick (Paperblade), in this quicktopic. Each night, one of you may use your factional ##Nightkill on another player. You probably know what this does!

Okay, now to explain that universal loss thing.

I figured that the two were arguing because they wanted to win.  So forcing them into a situation where both would lose was the fastest way for me to stop that nonsense.  Otherwise, I'd have to swap accounts and Do My Job.

I also had an ever-so-slight edge because I had to hide posts from Boron/BBM.  But it was moot in the end.

I don't remember, tbh. I think after, but I didn't have it in mind while making the role. It was just born of my general sentiments to stop day phases from dragging on recently and I gave it the bonus ability to secure lynches.

If I ever run another mafia game I'm totally including timewinder. It will be my role and I will have the ability to use it every day.

For a serious comment on the game, I can't say I agree with using NL tactically like that.
