Ein The DOA Champion
Okay, back when the 2-D Sonic games were on Sega Genesis cartridges, the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge had a special ability to lock-on with Sonic 2 and 3 cartridges. When it locks-on with those cartridges, they are supposed to unlock games you can play like Knuckles in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Question is, how will we be able to do that with the virtual console versions? Will they like release those unlockable games as separate games you can download? Will they figure out how to have the virtual console version of Sonic & Knuckles detect Sonic 2 and 3 on your console and end up getting those unlockable games instantly? What do you think? Zephrion
If companies didn't care so much about profits, they'd release Sonic 2/3 and Knuckles as a standalone title. Unfortunately, this is the real world, and I'm sure they'll figure out a way to charge us for Sonic 2/3 and Sonic and Knuckles. Though perhaps they could release Sonic 2/3 and Knuckles for 1000 Wii Points. That would save us cash, and Nintendo wouldn't lose as much profit. Raven
I wouldn't even waste my Wii points on it. Reason being is I already have all these titles on my Wii, through the Sonic Mega Collection which was out for the Gamecube. A second-hand copy of that, where you can get all the old Sonic games, is probably cheaper than however many points you use to get just one game.
