riariadne
The very first 2 horse knights colide. Who comes out on top, however, is the main desicion. Oscar pros Great move range earth affinity extra move new weapon choice on promotiom great caps triangle attack available almost the whole game 36 levels to grow and 1 promotion Oscar cons Weak to knighkiller, poleax, longsword locked to lances before promotion S rank lance cant be obtained Low capacity So u probably will point out that both oscar and titania have great movement and the extra move, and have similar cons. However Oscar still has many more advantages than titania. The major one is that oscar has a huge lvl up gain lead on her - 17 level ups and one promotion more than she gets! plus, he doesnt have fixed weapons- you can choose which weapon to give him depending on the needs of your party. "But Titania has great earlygame utility!" Great for Titania! Too bad that she robs the exp from units like Boyd, Ike, Soren, and, hmm, Oscar! Lets be nice and assume you disrtibute exp fairly. heres how your characters might be by chapter, lets say, 8, when things start to get difficult. Ike lvl 10/0 Titania lv -/5 Boyd lv 12/0 Oscar lv 12/0 Rhys lv 8/0 Soren lv 7/0 Mia lv 7/0 ... Actually, looking at the growth rates, I was pretty surprised, and I don't think I can make a comeback to those. I concede. Sorry if I wasted your time, Swordsalmon.
