Megami07 Posted November 18, 2022 Share Posted November 18, 2022 Introduction : Hello, I discovered this forum earlier this year, but didn't sign up because I had nothing new to say about 3H.With Engage coming I'm here now. About me: English is not my first langage I'm french and I spend more reading fanfiction in english than speaking or writing it so my phrasing is pretty weird sorry.I mostly play RPG or gacha (Arknight and Shining Nikki) but I will try other things from times to times. Fire emblem info: I am a awakening baby! I bought it the year it launch without knowing a thing about this series because of the cover😅 and the fact it was a RPG (I was young ok?).Since then I have play all the entries (only played North path for fates). I put 3H at my favorite fire emblem mostly for the story/character and played time 180 hours for the 3 routes (one day I will finish the church routes). For difficulty mostly hard never tried maddening. Engage feeling : Disastrous character design but look way better than 3H, very low hopes for the storybut hight hopes for the gameplay. So do I, mostly Priconne, Revue Starlight, and Alchemist Code nowadays. Also, Dragalia, but that's ending service in less than two weeks, sadly. A shame, because I liked how it mostly avoided needing the best units just to be successful at a good chunk of its high end content (which is something I can't say for certain other gachas. Case in point: Valkyrie Connect, which I also play, is much worse about this than Dragalia ever was). It helped that in Dragalia, my efforts actually felt like they EVENTUALLY paid off, which I feel hasn't been happening in VC; it feels more and more like I'm trying to climb the endless stairs in Super Mario 64... Anyway, welcome. Personally, I think the character design in Engage isn't that bad; nothing stands out as being egregiously shameless like female Byleth's design did. I don't really how to put it, but for me everyone looks like there are more actors in a school play than a battlefield? I know that this time the story will more "light" I really have difficulty looking at them without laughing.
