eclipse
Unless you're doing a min-max run, you don't need to go totally crazy. Figure out what your units need, and work accordingly. Though if you're on Conquest, Camilla as a Wyvern Lord makes a certain later chapter a lot less headache-inducing. Also, since this is a Fates question, I'll shove it in that subforum. Armchair General
On Hard with Conquest, most of the default classes will pan out if you know what you're doing. With Birthright, there's so many ways to break the difficulty, that it's kind of hard to tell you where to start since Hoshido leans an little bit towards being evasive and manipulating stats while the Nohrian skills are mainly geared towards winning fights Edited December 18, 2022 by Armchair General

Honestly, Camilla as a Wyvern Lord makes Conquest in general much less of a headache. Anyways, the units in Birthright mostly lean towards being glass cannons and fragile speedsters, which can make things frustrating because dodging attacks just isn't as reliable as it used to be. HP boon Corrin, Scarlet, and Oboro are about the only tanky units (that are actually worth using). On the Nohrian side, most units are better at taking hits. By the way, reclassing does not work the same as in this game as it did in Awakening; levels do not reset when you reclass.
