The better question is; why have the dragons of type A pointed ears? I'm pretty sure they don't have pointed ears in their dragon form so where do they come from? Maybe because this type of ears is a lazy shorthand for a non-human race? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it. So, definitely type B for me, if only for the fact that their designs show far more creativity than the others. That and Panne looks awesome. Love her.

Battle animations are one of the first things that I switch off (ain't got time for that) so I don't really care.

For me between mid-30 till mid-40. More than 50 is definitely too many for me. And if we consider supports and the general writing as well, less is better as well.

So you didn't actually want to know everyone's opinion. You just want to be praised for your great idea. Yeah, it doesn't work that way. And why would they be interesting or fun? From all those examples you brought up, they're on level with Old Bubba or whatever his name was. (Though he had far more presence than he deserved, imo.) And he was pretty stupid. That said, surprise, surprise, there is not one way to have fun and if you don't want to hear from people who have a different sense of fun, write that in the OP.

I'm Dark. I voted no, though I don't have any strong feelings about this. It's extremely superfluous; I never noticed it was gone. I'm also in the camp that thinks horoscopes are stupid and they're inaccurate 99% of the time. So while I wouldn't be happy if they integrate some sort of horoscope lore in the next game, I wouldn't mind if it was just a small matter.

I like the trope in other games, but I don't think Fire Emblem does it well enough. Camus' work best in a story with a grey-grey morality. Their motives need to be understandable; otherwise the player will just think "What an idiot" (see the Bryce/Xander/etc discussion). And Fire Emblem just doesn't have that kind of storytelling. It's always good against evil. I can't remember any FE game where the villain side has something that makes me stop and reconsider my opinion about them. Selena is one where I could sympathize, mostly because "doing the wrong thing because of love" is something that is often used in fiction and it works most of the time. Humans do extremely stupid and sometimes self-destructive things in the name of love. So I could see her side (and I like that she knows that loves blinds her, even though she's too weak to do something against it). I barely remember anything about Linus and Lloyd, but their situation was also generally sympathetic. I didn't choose them because I remember too little about their story.

Gonna go with Conquest for best. The others already wrote why so I won't repeat it here. Worst is hard because I don't think any of the concepts are bad. I picked Awakening for worst, purely because I don't like time travel. So it's down ot personal taste.

I'm gonna take neither. Apart from Mozu, who is in both routes, no other female character impressed me. Mayyyyyyyyyyyyybe Nyx because I dig her hair, but that's not enough to decide for Nohr.

Thinking about it for a while, I believe the literature that we consume might make a difference too. Many fans say that his fuck-nobles attitude is refreshing to them, but honestly, it feels like 80% of all fantasy books I have read have the protagonist that hate nobles/only have corrupt nobles. So I'm like "refreshing? He's like every hero ever". For me, a good noble as the hero is more unusual.

Count me in on the people who don't like Ike. To me, he's the blandest lord of them all and as lively as a dead fish. Also, Ike fans made me hate him for a while but I got over that. I'm back to "I don't care but keep him out of my face".

Yay, more Gaiden. That magic system is really odd. Is every healing or black magic attack 1HP or does it get higher later? Can't say I like those types of system. I hope they don't keep it in Echoes.

Isolated from the narrative, I'm indifferent to them. They're just bland to me, like Ike and Chrom. If I look at Corrin's character and role in the story, it's just ridiculous. Those two just don't work together, see the way the narration has to jump through unbelievable hoops to make "sense". However, I don't care enough about Fates to feel hate towards it. Too old for that shit.

I don't mind either way because it sounds the same when I pronounce it (in German). Both with a kind of ts sound.

If Eirika is in this, I might even buy this game. Not generally a fan of Warriors games, but Eirika is awesome.

Gunter. When I saw his design, I already liked him. Then I heard that I can marry the Jeigan. "Fuck yeah!" I thought. I was spoilered about his creepy S-support (MU just has some daddy issues, alright), but I wanted to fucking marry my Jeigan. I don't regret it. He gives Kana a nice hair colour as well. In my first and only Birthright run I chosen Kaze. His supports are so sweet. I'm not too sure about my first Rev S-support, but I think it was Saizo. He's as awesome as his brother.

Ooohh~ an LP about Gaiden. I'm too lazy to play it myself so I'm quite happy to see this. Picture size is good for me.
