  1. Well the set has been working pretty well. The set is more for versatility than aiming to be a dedicated role, for example against problematic sets like Quixotic or Certain Blow one I usually debuff them and let other unit handle it, this build also helps against other dodgetanking builds like Josephine and Ninetails, since Awakening+Lucky Seven negate Shurikenbreaker, can attack from 2 range without them retaliating, have weapon advantage,etc. It is a nice dodgetank that helps to kill other dodgetanks, and also can support with debuffing. Yeah Inigo/Laslow definitely helps, also after the galeforce activates I usually Warp my MU clone to pair up with it so its speed becomes much higher. Vengeance has its perks, altough some times deals lower damage than Rend Heaven is usually more consistent when set up, and with the incredible crazy high skill+ Awakening crtting occurs almost every battle which adds with Vengeance ~14 damage and Flame Blood which usually leads to a kill, so the added extra damage is much less note worthy than when the times it does less damage than Vengeance. Bowbreaker could be great against Snipers though, but need to test since Vengeance has been giving me some important kills. Thanks for the post btw dude
  2. Oh yeah know that, Dark Mage line gives me Vengeance for my Vantage-Awakening-Vengeance-Lucky Seven-Gakeforce build,it was only for Vengeance and Bowbreaker, it has been working pretty great in PVP Limited mode, what I really needed was Ninja line as my final one.

  4. So I want to do some new builds for PvP. As for now I recently acquires a bond unit with Fiery Blood and +SPD/-DEF mods, so this is my current planned build: Phoenix Class: Elite Ninja Boots:2 PS: Fiery Blood -Galeforce -Awakening -Lucky Seven -Vantage -Vengeance All stats are going to be maxed since statue bond unit abuse exist. The current goal of the set is to kill 2 unit with Sacrifical Knife so I am at %40 to trigger Fiery Blood, Vantage, Awakening and stack damage with Vengeance, Lucky Seven stacks with Awakening effectively giving me 50+hit and 50+avoid so I am able to be an effective dodgetank and deal with breakers if I need to. Others ways exist such as attacking on purpose at close range to go down to less than %50 an ending with Kagero Dart since it gives a +20 avoid. What do you think about the overall set? Dunno if I should change something. The other currently build I am aiming for is an Icy Blood, since it took me like 3 consecutive days to obtain the Fiery Blood BU as I wanted I may just use Flora instead, of course maybe also logbook abuse. Though currently I think I may go for something like this: Flora Boots:? PS: Icy Blood -Wary Fighter -Counter -Countermagic -Warp -Replicate Or something like that. If someone has an interesting build aside from Zerk Rush spam and you dont mind sharing it please tell me.

Finally got a Fiery Blood unit with Dark Mage/Ninja classes +SPD/-DEF w/Lucky Seven & Vantage, it took me only 87 tries (and by tries I mean making another save file and rush the game til chapter 9 so I can gift the streetpassed unit) after forming a bond level enough with my little brother's Birthright file and streetpassing it. You would think after obtaining every other personal skill multiple times it would take no time to get the only one you really want.

  7. Hacking FE 10 is so fuuuuuuun. Anyways, I used to mess regularly with it, I even did some light patches(which I still regret not finishing my full mod, but hope I can continue with it soon enough) of the game. So basically you just want to edit the weapon stats right? Believe me or not that is one of the main reasons I started hex editing RD, since things like Mist sword being physical really bugged me, I could help you a little bit in that part if you want. Now for the Ocarina codes, If I am correct you dont really need to know how to hex edit really, though basic understanding is recommended and a Calculator in Programmer mode definitely helps. Before all lets state that the code is divided in 2 parts, each part has 4 bytes that are composed of 2 numbers in Hexadecimal each one, the first 4 bytes(or 8 numbers) represent where that data is located and the next 4 byes into what that part is going to be changed. For starting lets use an example of some codes used to modify stats that already exist: Double Bow has 10 Range [ShadowX39] 04B612F0 010A0003 The 3 is the +3 strength it gives, you can go above 3 and also do it to any weapon! Double Bow adds +3 Magic, Skill, Speed, Luck [ShadowX39] 04B612F4 03030303 Double Bow adds +3 Def, Res [ShadowX39] 04B612F8 03030000 Here are examples, now it's up to you if you want to edit this. As you can see the first part of the code is very similar, that is because it is pointing to the offset that is going to be modified in the game and since the data of the weapons stats is basically in the same place as long as you already have a code that modifies an stat of the weapon you should be able to alter the other stats without much problem. Now, how to know if you need to add or substract some bytes? well this is when those hacking notes come in really handy, first lets see how the stats are organized: 00 C8 0E 5F 0F 05 2D 04 01 02 01 - Cost per use (first two bytes), Might, Accuracy, Critical, Weight, Uses, Weapon Exp, Min range, Max range, Unknown Now observe the modify range code: Double Bow has 10 Range [ShadowX39] 04B612F0 010A0003 First we need to identify some bytes, so we know that the code is changing the maximum range of the weapon so it is 10, now go to the Calculator in Programmer mode an type 10 when it is on Decimal, now just change to Hexadecimal and you will see that it turns into 0A, which as you see is the new value the code is entering. So lets say now that you want to modify the other stats like the Critical, well as you see Critical is 4 bytes before the Min Range, so to the first half of the code just substract 4 to the last byte, which would turn into: 04B612EC Now you know the first byte of the previous codes is the Min Range, since you know Critical and Min Range are just 4 bytes apart then that means that it should be located also in the first byte so lets say we want to have 30 Critical on Double Bow, first lest convert 30 into Hexadecimal: 30=1E So lets put it into the code: 04B612EC 1E000000 Of course, leaving at 00 all the other bytes will mess with the corresponding stat, so change it accordingly. This could be somewhat inaccurare but it should help with what you want.

I think the problem with Gunter is that his role as a Jeigan is just needed like for 2-3 chapters at most really, compared to something like Frederic who was basically the best unit alongside MU or Titania who was stupidly great the entire game, well I think is fair to say he is bad overall. Conquest is the only game he can build support with FeMU, his personal skill is pretty good for her, but overall Jakob is better, so even as a pair up bot he is outclassed. That said I dont understand why someone would say Hinoka is bad,lol, she is one of the best units in BR, not Ryouma level,but still is a pretty solid unit.

For Velouria the optimal would be Camilla, Effie or Charlotte, for min maxing I would go for Effie or Charlotte, her personal skill is not that relevant so is better to focus on her STR and SPD though Effie still has better LCK growth and Cap than Camilla so is a small added bonus, Mozu is better for a more rounded unit like Sophie or Mitama. For Caeldori, that is kinda a mixed bag as it somewhat depends on what class she will end, for example I use her as a Dark Falcon mothered by Selena, altough her growths are not impressive she ends with better caps(+1 SPD, +1 MAG) for that class than if mothered by Oboro and Hinoka, but if you want to make her a Great Lord then go for Oboro and Hinoka, Hinoka has better growths and Oboro better mods for me. Nina, I would say Nyx or Felicia, Nyx is overall better. Ophelia, Nyx or Elise, Nyx is better again, but i prefer her with Nina, so I would pick Elise for her. I will elaborate on the others later.
  11. For ingame I would say Camilla! Velouria, in min-maxing i prefer Effie. Ophelia is also pretty good. Like they are the best physical and magical children in conquest respectively, they usually will be higher in their stats than almost everybody.

Regarding the Part 3 altough Micaiah is not aware of the blood pact until later it is stated that she knows (because her future sight powers) that Pelleas is chosing the best path for Daein at that moment, because even without it risking another war against Begnion is beyond questioning. Also the point of racism is that altough it exists, is not the reason why Pelleas is going to war, and Micaiah is just obeying an order, thats it, if you compare it to a real life job is not so different, is the same reason Zelgius cannot evade pursuing the LA, etc.

I just wanna point that the part about all the laguz racism that Micaiah accepts is surely because it helps to raise the moral of the army, as much as revered and adored she is in Daein it is very unfair to think that she can change how the people of Daein see laguz just after a war ended at the same time another one is approaching. She is clearly against the racism when she expresses how happy she is that Sothe uses "Laguz" instead of "Sub-human", but being against it and being able to erase it are different things, is similar as to how she accepts the path Pelleas chose even if she does not agree with, she clearly states how she does not care how the world sees her as long as she can save Daein. Micaiah makes much real decisions than Nohrcorrin who "defeats armies without killing anyone", heck she is more realistic than a good portion of characters, the part when she almosts sets ablaze the apostle's army really surprised me the first time I played the game, instead of the typical lord that worries about being good and all that, she uses a much more real way to approach a war, it is not that I liked her using that strategy or way to do things, but that I could understand why she did it. To the defense of Nohrcorrin I would say that the overall characters in Fates are like that, the part when Zola basically captures the enemy royalty which means that you could end the war,but Nohr Royals are like "You cannot do that, that is bad, we need to get into a full war so we can capture and kill them", like Nohrcorrin is supposed to hate war and want to end it quickly, but when he has the chance he throws it away and begins into defeating armies without killing anyone, I could not decide if it was either more dumb or unrealistic.

I dont know why in the world someone would think that a bane that gives you -1 STR, -3 SKL and -1 DEF which are basically the most relevant stats bar SPD is good, being able to hit more consistently is much more important than a few points of LCK that makes almost no difference in the long run. Why would a DEF bane would be foolish when you are focusing on avoid? the -3 damage helps you to survive what you need. You are just trading having offensive prowess for a little more critical evade and defense that you dont need on the first place, just by being near Jakob and Sakura you are having a -7 Damage reducing effect, which is enough to survive, hit has almost always been much more important than critical evade, there is a reason why breaker skills are broken, because they mess with your hit, if they only reduced critical evade instead no one would pay that amount of attention. Tanking is less important than killing right away, especially since as I pointed above is much more easier to patch, you are making it seem like a problem when the only things you need are Jakob and Rinkah as pair up bots to survive what you need, you are talking like if you really needed tanks that bad in the first place in Birthright.
  15. For Boon SPD and STR are the superior options For Bane it would be either -LCK or -DEF. Seriosly would someone pick -SKL as a bane? It is much more detrimental than -LCK, being able to hit is much more important than having a bit more of critical evade, that is without adding that it basically lowers all the other relevant stats bar SPD.
  16. Skill is way better than Luck. There is a reason why -DEF and -LCK are usually the best bane, especially -DEF because it does not lower any of your offensive stats, Jakob also gives you a free +15 Avoid and -3 damage just for pairing up.
  17. It doesn't work sadly. Also I just noted that if you interact with other file's avatar in streetpass or mycastle your bond "level resets", it does not apply to the game making the bond unit. Example: I use Cartridge X to create a bond unit with Cartridge Y, I use save file 1 of catridge X to go to the castle of cartridge Y save file 1, if my cartridge X save file 2 interactues with cartridge Y save file 1 it will still add "bond level", but if my cartridge X interactues with another save file of cartridge Y that is not 1 the "bond level" will reset. So for those who want to create a bond unit try to not visit other Avatar of the same person until you create the bond unit if you dont want for it to reset. Dont know if this is common knowledge but I tought it would be nice to share if someone did not knew.
  18. Micaiah is such a great character, to be fair almost any if not any lord/main character is better than Nohrcorrin. I really like how she does not care what she needs to do to get the job done, unlike Corrin who is almost always complaining and crying all the freaking time, and the part of "the beated an army without killing everyone" is justbad. Micaiah's decision altough extreme are somewhat logical, in first place almost nobody understands than seeking help for her is much more difficult than for Nohrcorrin, because unlike him she does not have any familiarity or relationships(aside from her heritage, which no one knows so it does not matter in this case) outside of Daein, and on top of that Daein,was in war with Begnion and Crimea, and has bad relationships with Laguz countries, so basically Daein going outside to ask for help will not lead to anything since every other country does not care for it because they hate it. Nohrcorrin is basically loved from both royal families, on top of having their confidence, and even when he decides on doing something he is just being a crybaby for not doing what he/she needs to do and just blames King Garon and everyone. Like Micaiah stats how she does not care if she is regarded as a villain, unlike Nohrcorrin who is loved by everyone, Micaiah was almost always alone for being a branded, and outside of Daein people and Sothe nobody would care for her, so I kinda understand why she would go to that extreme to protect the people that love her.

I have another Awakening set that I have planned for a Bond Unit: Master Ninja: PS Fiery Blood +SPD/-DEF Skills: Awakening Vantage Vengeance Lucky Seven Galeforce Equip: Sacrificial Knife Soldier's Knife Felicia's Plate/Flame Shuriken/Leo's Iceblade(mainly for using after Soldier's Knife) Kagero's Dart Barb Shuriken/Dual Shuriken So the first goal is to use Sacrificial Knife on one unit so my hp drops to 30%, if i killed I do it again since Galeforce and get into Awakening and Vantage range, if I did not I use Azura to refresh use Sacrificial Knife, Galeforce now procs and end with Kagero's Dart So now I have Like +70 avoid thanks to Awakening, Lucky Seven and Kagero's dart, on top of the avoid I gain from having more than 40 SPD. It can also do a crap ton of damage thanks to Vengeance+Crit which aside from 3 range Weapons is somewhat difficult to get over it because of the risk, Awakening and Lucky Seven also "nullifies" Shurikenbreaker so it makes you almost always hit even with it. Fiery Blood is pretty cool because that +4 can be a huge difference because of the crits. Thoughts?

So something weird happened when trying to bond with my little brother's game and mine: I was aiming for a particular personal skill, so with my revelations file and my little brother's birthright game card I formed a bond, I had saved just before a bond unit is created so of i did not like i used another new save file from my little brother's birthright game, it worked nicely until in my revelations file I changed my file to another one, when I returned to the birthright gamecard I updated the other file calling card, and when i tried to give an accessory to the previous one intead of forming a bond unit it just strenghtened, like it reseted or something. So anyone knows if this always happen, like if you are just a gift away to form a bond unit, if you obtain the calling card of other file it resets?

Btw, can I make multiple saves of a file before creating a bond unit so if I dont get what I wanted I can redo it?
  23. The map is just a bit tedious but nothing else, is easy to bait enemies and kill in the next turn.
  24. Character Wise: Felicia, Rinkah, Shiro, Elise, there should be a couple of others. Unit Wise: I would say Camilla because of how much more relevant she is in Conquest compared to Ryoma in Birthright.

Speed may be better, the thing is that your Avatar's boon gives you an extra statue in that stat, so by having an SPD mod all your other units will be having a +1 SPD with capped statues, also that high STR cap is usually overkill IMO, SPD makes more difference in the long run, though it is also dependant in what class your Kanna will be.
