  2. Don't see why people think Volke should get more playtime. He's already pretty broken. The only characters who really could have used the extra playtime are Tormod, Vika, Muarim, Fiona, and maybe Geoffrey. Everyone else gets a fair amount of playtime in my opinion. As for when they would rejoin/join, I would have Fiona join on 6-2 and allow her to be playable for all part 1 chapters, and have everyone else rejoin on 3-10 (the chapter where you have to protect Elincia) Geoffrey would still leave afterward, but at least he would get one more chapter. And it makes sense for Tormod, Muarim, and Vika to rejoin that chapter too.
  3. IGN is probably one of the few video game rating websites that actually makes believable reviews in my opinion, so I generally tend to agree with most of the things they post. The only thing that I agree with about this list is that pretty much all of the series's on this list deserve to be on it (with a few exceptions) but the order is pretty bad for the most part. Some spots got good places (The top 5 of the list, Avatar, Venture Brothers, Pokemon) While others were just too low (Full metal Alchemist, Dragonball) and others were too high (Naruto, Star Wars[The animated version of clone wars that serves as a more immediate prequel to the third movie rather than the 3D one airing now]). Spider man had three separate shows listed in the list too. Don't know if anyone had seen this list before or a list like it, so..... I thought it was pretty interesting.

  5. Maybe you should be more clear in what you are asking. Replacing characters and the side effects that such things can cause can mean multiple different things.
  6. Behold! Two mugs..... Yeah..... For those who may or may not have noticed/cared, I took about a week off or something since I got re addicted to a very bad/addicting/somewhat good game. The reason why it was so easy for me to get addicted to this game was because I have spent almost all of my free time working on this hack since I started it. So I think a week off is a fair break. None the less, I am finally starting to break free of that addiction! Yay! Ah, but then comes another problem. Tatsunoko VS Capcom comes out later in January and that will keep me occupied for who knows how long depending on how much I enjoy it. Yep. Other than that, I start School again soon and will have to deal with school work again and stuff, so that's the kind of stuff that would keep me from working on the project. Yeah..... Oh, and I've already said this before, but I would appreciate it if someone was willing to help me with making mugs. Mine aren't all that great and it would help me with moving the project along. Additionally, If anyone has made any mugs of characters from FE 1-3 and FE 9-11 that they would like to have in this hack, please feel free to ask for them to be in. There are two chapters in this hack that are meant to be very easter eggy, and as such have a lot of references to pretty much every FE. I already have some mugs that I plan on using for these two chapters, but I was wondering if anyone wanted to have any more characters show up. THIS IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL AND COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY! The only point of doing this is to add more cameos for these two chapters. There are only 10 slots, but none of them need to be filled, as this is optional since I don't need these 10 characters to complete the hack. Remember, you don't have to make an entirely new mug if you want to submit something; it could have just been something you already made. To anyone who helps me with mugs, credit will obviously be given.

  8. A friend of mine new the address of every kid in our grade and even some of the teachers, and one time for a school project, on his final slide for his powerpoint, he put the address of everyone in the class and the teacher on it.
  9. No kidding. Particularly since hes actually the most functional mage in the game. Who the hell else are you gonna use? Ilyana Little Miss No Speed? Tormod of No Availability? Calill (LOL)? Seriously, hes the only decent mage in the game. (also considering what magic levels he maxed in PoR, gives him that uber bonus to his levels during the transfer.) Yeah also forget Adept much? Why must you use a mage? If this was like any of the nicer FEs where having a mage around means enemy generals cry it would be one thing. A lot of units 2RKO Generals anyway and while 2 Hammers doesn't give a lot of uses they do allow any axe user to ORKO if they double. Soren is lucky to 2HKO and frequently 3HKOs and doesn't double. So he's basically worse than a lot of your other attackers against Generals, and that's basically his best case scenario. And he'll not be dodging frequently enough to send him out there on enemy phase when he's getting 2HKOd by everything, so I have to ask what does it matter if he's the most functional mage in the game (which he isn't thanks to Micaiah and, yes, Calill)? Asvel he is not. (In fact, he still couldn't hold a candle to pre-Narga Yuria even if you remove the hp drain effect of Resire) Oh, and Ilyana does his job about the same. Sure, he frequently 2HKOs stuff that she 3HKOs when both are given forges, but honestly why is he soloing any enemies? Against the majority of enemies she's basically just as capable of combining with most random GM units to KO a unit as Soren is. Also, being (N), Soren (N) doesn't get any weapon levels from PoR. Although, the Bs he starts with (A wind) are good enough for most tasks anyway. Just needs 1 thunder level to get to Arcthunder and Thoron is not practical to purchase and a forged thunder is > Arcthunder anyway. He has no need of Bolganone since he doesn't appear in 4-5 (making Ilyana and Calill better choices to raise anyway if you absolutely must raise a sage) so B Fire gets him all the fire he'll ever be able to use and E thunder is honestly all he needs for thunder. Well, the 3-11 Thoron could be purchased if you really want, but an 8mt forge (1 less mt than Thoron and possibly fixed by a card) has 24 mt on dragons anyway vs. 27 mt from Thoron. And the forge will have better hit (and >= crit since Thoron is only 5 crit, but that doesn't matter much) and probably be cheaper per hit. T version already has a higher score if starting with S Wind, A Fire, A Thunder makes a difference over ABB. Ike Haar Mia Titania Gatrie Janaff Ulki Shinon Nephenee Oscar Mordecai Ranulf Boyd Mist (healing) Heather (when necessary) Rhys (healing) I see no reason to use Soren when I have more units (that are better than he is) than slots already. And yeah, Adept on Soren is only an argument for players that don't seem to realize that you can give Adept to someone that uses it better. Playing efficiently, giving Soren credit for Adept would be like giving Fiona credit for Saviour and Imbue (so 3-6 easy button with Saviour Sothe, for example). While everything you said is true, I will still use Soren because he can use Rexcal. (For all thats worth. -___-) (I have to use each SS weapon, and there has to be one person to use each.) Bastian can use Rexcal and he has better weapon levels + innate corrosion. He's also possibly more durable or something else that makes him better than Soren for hard mode reasons.

  12. BOOOOO!!!! I don't know how to apply it... ;_; If I was to take a random guess though, I would guess using the event assembler maybe? That's probably wrong though.
  13. Something like that should definitely work, but I've never had any luck with getting weapons to heal people and stuff (never really tried it either though).
  14. So if you just insert the Falcoknight using a staff as a custom animation and then make a custom animation in the custom animation module using the three pre existing animations plus the new staff one, then it won't work? Weird.

  16. Crap! I just realized/remembered that myself... And that's something that should be especially important to fix since my goal for what to have happen on that chapter is that you need to rescue some people. One of them is pretty durable (45 Hp, 24 def and res) but the other... not so much(30 Hp, 12 Def 19 Res). Ah well, I'll go fix it once I get more input on what to fix.
  17. It can just be annoying to see nothing but negative comments one after the other at times. It's helpful, but can still be annoying at times. Behold! The chapter 3 map. Hopefully it at least looks a bit better this time around. I think the mountains and the castle look pretty nice, but I think the desert could look better (maybe?). Not really sure. I had a pretty hard time making this map since it was kinda hard to see some of the sand tiles and figure out exactly where they should go and things like that. Don't know if that's because of my computer screen or my own somewhat bad vision, but I tried pretty hard to make that map so hopefully it looks passable. It's always only after I post the map on forums do the problems with my maps become more clear to me (vision wise).

I generally do all my play testing myself, but before I release my next demo I'll send you a patch to look over before the final release of it if you'd like or something along those lines. ^that What I suggested is edit the frames to be more the size of the characters and style that is in FE... As well as adding frames in between... Btw, you still haven't fixed the thing with the golem... having a "hit" command on the miss... The golem could also use some moving to the left a bit on the enemy side (I'm assumming moving to the right on your custom battle animation screen) Should I just give up on trying to put them in the hack then? I mean, if they don't fit well with Fire Emblem's graphics, then their is nothing I can really do about that. I mean, I put those animations in the hack because I thought they would look cool and be a nice addition, but right now, all I get is negative criticism (Needed criticism, but still...). I could work on the frame rates more and do some repositioning, but I can't really do too much in terms of editing graphics. I'm a hacker (though not a very good one probably), not a spriter. I can only do so much with graphics and such since I have no comprehension of art or beauty and the like. I'm really trying with this hack, but I'm starting to feel like people aren't really going to like it very much because of all the bad graphics and such. I think the biggest problem this hack probably is going to have is that I'm trying to make it in mind as being a game that I would like to play (which is why I added in the Megaman Zero/ Breath of Fire 2 Sprites) instead of being something that everyone would want to play. The Golem problem wasn't fixed in any of the videos I made because I never changed it for the videos. I'm pretty sure that problem already, and if I didn't, it doesn't really take all that long to fix anyway. I know people mostly complain about the graphics, but are there any problems with the Sound effects? No one really says anything about those.

  20. Make entirely new events and add more characters, but even then you are still limited by the games own character limits and things like that. Pablo and Vigarde have character slots though already (since they are bosses) so you wouldn't have to worry about that.
  21. I was going to class module and changing his stuff around :D but your way worked so much better! I'm not changing anyone's class only Lute's promotion and some of the unlockable characters. Is there a way to add more unlockable characters? like Pablo or Lyon's dad? or do they have to replace someone else? To my knowledge, SECRET CHARACTERS would need to be replaced. If you wanted to make them be recruitable during the main story, then they could become playable.

  23. You either need to import the female shaman/druid map sprite, or change it to something else using the map sprite editor module. Ismaire's class can be changed in one of the chapter unit modules. Her data is found in one of the unknown ones I think (I think it's number 6, and all the other creature campaign units are located there too)
  24. Considering how terrible FE3 is, Nephinel is better off playing FE1. I play it every so often too and it's a lot of fun, but it's sad that axe users kinda suck.
