  1. D: Gilliam totally deserves a day of his own! He's awesome. He's manly and large and armored and does not have a happy face. Awesome.
  2. I don't have anything against Lyre. She sucked quite terribly in the beginning, but I was determined to use her this playthrough. So, I hid her behind Shinon, who had a crossbow and corrosion, and let her get some chip damage until I said AH SCREW IT and BEXP'd her from 18 to 25 or somesuch. From there, she could survive more than a turn, so I threw Paragon and Cancel on her and let her attack some things that could fight back. Right now, as Integ said, I'm at endgame with a level 40 Lyre who I'm quite happy with. She was a'ight from 25 to 30 - nothing too rage-inducing - and then from 30 on she was a decent unit. The BEXP'ing apparently didn't damage her stats, because she's capped everything besides ... Magic, I think? Now, in any other run I probably wouldn't bother with her, but having put the effort into her for this run, I no longer think she's a horrible unit.
  3. Yes, sir, that would indeed include Kyle once he promotes. =D
  4. Great Knights. I have a serious crush on Great Knights.
  5. YAAGH I TOTALLY AGREE. D: The subject at hand! 1. Innes/Vanessa 2. Ephraim/Tana 3. Haar/Jill 4. Naesala/Leanne 5. Seth/Eirika Last four can really go in any order and are likely prone to changing somewhere in the near future but we'll go with this. And, since it seems to be something to note in this thread, I'm on the Geoffrey/Elincia side of things.
  6. Shinon was the best. I actually liked listening to him. =D I do think Ranulf was fine, though, and Mia's voice was so unexpected it was endearing. Mist, though. Hoo boy. I consider her the worst. Rolf at least was hilariously painful, but Mist was just bad. ...By the way, who is Ranulf's voice actor? He sounds familiar and I'm really not sure why.
  7. Dude, that is so awesome. Seriously. I love Resolve. I gave it to Zihark last playthrough and he... er... Loved to use it. Skirted a few WAVES of varying tiger and cat laguz in 3-6 at 3 health. I watched in horror, waiting for him to die at any moment, as he dodged everything and crit everything in return so he had to keep dodging since he kept killing. Ah, fun times. Thanks for reminding me that I have to showdown with Edward again, though, I had totally forgotten about 3-E. Dx
  8. Story time! I was playing 3-7 today, running Ike down to try and NODAMAGE! the Black Knight. To be honest, as much as I love nurturing my silly little Dawn Brigade, I was so looking forward to kicking their asses with the much more hardcore Mercenaries. Or in this case, Ike and Shinon, but that's another story. Anyway, I run happy level 20 Ike down, 8 turns or so in, and Zihark attacks! ...Does three damage and dies horribly. Well, runs away. But still. I move forward, kill a few more faceless dudes, and, lo and behold, silly little Edward attacks! ...And proceeds to CRITICAL 30 DAMAGE - CANCEL Ike. I heal my poor lord back up with a vulnerary, move some other guys who don't matter to the story, and end turn. Edward attacks again! ADEPT CRITICAL 30 DAMAGE. Ike dies. ...Frickin'. Edward. Killed. Ike. From nearly full health. EDWARD. I don't know whether this is a win or a fail. (Another restart, Edward finally failed to crit, so Ike got to attack him. Ike's Adept even kicked in! Edward. Didn't. Die. It took an extra shot from Shinon to finish the little bugger off wtf. But I then got my round with the Black Knight and lived to run away, so it's all good)
  9. 16 year old female, 5' 5'' and 117 lbs. That'd make me a 6, eh?
  10. Spiders skeeve me out, man. D: But damn is that hat exquisite.
  11. Narrator and I agreed on much until Titania. I changed my ways for him when it came to Lucia, but I draw the line with Titania. ) : How IS Nasir supposed to be pronounced? I've always said nah-SEER, but I don't remember the Narrator saying it. 'Course, I don't always pay much attention to the Narrator... >> (er, my Zelgius is still with a jee sound, since I failed to mention it.)
  12. Lemme see. Marcia. Long have I wondered whether it's supposed to be mar-SEE-uh or just like, y'know, Marsha. But I just say it like Marsha. Skrimir is SKRIH-meer. Haar is totally HAR. since HAR. is manly. Dheginsea is DEG-in-see. Titania is ti-TAY-nee-uh. And I have no damn clue how to say Caineghis. I avoid saying it out loud as much as possible. I do have a point of curiosity, though, if I can manage to put it into words. Which I probably won't, but I'll give it a shot anyhow. Zelgius. Specifically, the G. You guys say it like "zell-jee-yus" or "zell-gi-yus"?
  13. Not RD, but in Raven's recruitment chapter in Blazing Sword, I was having some really dumb issues resulting in a couple of restarts, so I was getting realllly tired of the map. Ended it all when I get right up to the boss room (WHOOOO) to have this little mage run out of nowhere and crit Raven to death. One shot. 2% crit chance or something. Actual RD and, in fact, yesterday, STARTED an entire map by having some guy crit Marcia and kill her. D:
  14. Nephenee: Everything's...so dark... I...don't want to... Oscar: These enemies... They're too powerful... Help me... Boyd... R-Rolf... Those are the first I thought of. Dunno why, man, but that Oscar one always gets me. D:
  15. Oh my. I'll surely try to do both. : O
  16. The questions is, are they happy settlements? If so, then you might just have things figured out.
  17. Yay. I indeed will, sir. : D ...Chen is somewhat unnerving and kinda unhygienic, but, a hug is a hug~ EDIT: Oh, I am late to the party. Hey, Integ, fancy seeing you here. : P
  18. To be honest, I don't know how to go about making these fancy introduction posts. >> So, hello to you all. : D
