    Been a while, Heh? Lots of real stuff happened, so I couldn't really do much, But now, I got these menus translated. What's next:

    - Convoy and option menus

    - Dialogue

    But since FE5 atm is more important, because it's the one getting featured on FEE3, And i'm also working on FE9Editor in the meantime, and a java FE engine for my school, expect less updates on this.

    how do you expect me to know exactly? you just said that the events played the main theme. you can use ea(under the scripts should be disassemble(game)events.bat, drag and drop the rom onto that to disassemble every chapter) to check the events and modify them, usually the play music code is MUSC(or MUS1 if you use an old ea)

    So um is forgetting stuff your special technique or what

    if yes let me explain everything to you in 1 post

    1: open that module

    2: get the id of the name you want to edit

    3: reverse the byte on that value(for example, 74 04 = 0x0474)

    4: add that to the base value(base $39C59) = $39C59 + $474 = $3a0cd = the offset of your text

    but ATM I'm on ch 1-8 and in my emulator it lags alot with slowdowns, only on this specific chapter, the rest it's fine, 

    I wonder why tho? 

    looking forward to Act 2 split route in the future!

    Try removing hp bars in the options?

  7. Those are the main things, at least in my opinion, that does a good concept thread

     

    1: no wall of texts.

    Do not just come here and simply copy paste the script for your hack. First off, some peoples will just not read it cause it's too long, and second off, everyone can write a story, peoples dont get impressed by that.

    2: do not post your thread before having made significant progress with your hack.

    by that, i mean that you can't just arrive, post a concept tread and say something like "i'll start working on it soon, by the way i need artists for portraits and animations", you'll get laughed at.

    3: Always. Post. Screenshots.

    screenshots are the best you to tell peopke that you can hack, and you have progress done with your hack. Peoples also mostly prefers visual examples more than textual ones.

    And i think that's about it for what i got, i'll update it if i think something needs to be added.
