  1. Uhhh that would be a No Lynch if real so I hope that's fake if you're town. (It's fucked up because I actually have seen roles like that before.)
  2. Shinori responding aggressively to what he considers craplogic on him except when it's Mack pushing it is kind of strange. I remember Shinori unvoted because he said he had to figure out which of the Baldrick/Bart/Mich to see who he's voting, which seems like an arbitrary selection pool to me. If just going by who suspects him, a) why b) why isn't Mack being considered? Shinori, do you think Mack isn't worth lynching? Overall I want Shinori to post explicit reads instead of just targeted frustration at people which could be interpreted in multiple ways.
  3. Honestly, I wish this D1 was only 48 hours. Refa actually has me looking into a Mack lynch again. When Mack drops the Michelaar case to vote Shinori it comes off like Refa and Sully had to actively talk him out of the Michelaar vote, which is weird when the case for Shinori had existed before. Possibly switching his vote in response to pressure? Combined with his earlier defeatism (agreeing votes on him are good) I'd be fine dropping this slot today if not Ken. Unsure on Via atm, like kirsche his content hasn't left much of an impression but also like kirsche being busy probably factors in there. Frustratingly the most prominent people this game are the ones I don't really want to lynch on D1. Clearly we should have Rapier sub in for Ken.
  4. Hey so yeah I pretty much am voteparking at this point but how the hell has Ken still not come back with content? I think "being overreactive early on then pulling a vanishing act" is a pretty good justification as far as D1 lynches go. Could easily see kirsche being scum but waiting for him to have the time to post more content before coming to a conclusion re:that. Bartozio feels like he doesn't have much presence even though he's been posting a lot? Don't know what's up with that. Feeling better about both BBM and Marth after their recent content and interactions with each other. Neutral on Shinori. His initial post with the sheep vote bugged me but since then he's basically OK if not rather angery. @SB. New votals would be nice since there have been a lot unvotes recently. Also, you forgot to count Shinori's unvote here.
  5. Specifically I thought scum!BBM sees a post by town!Marth and thinks "oh, he says this but he's actually just gut reading Bartozio as scum because Bartozio was the third serious vote on the wagon" or something along those lines, then posts a read while still having that PoV of town!Marth.
  6. When I say scum won't construct cases like that I mean I don't think scum!Marth is going to become suspicious of Bartozio because of Reason A then justify his vote with Reason B. He might vote over Reason B then later use Reason A to retroactively justify his case, but you attacking him on the basis he was actually voting for Reason A and not Reason B in the first place seemed bizarre to me. That said I looked at Marth's post again and I can see how you would get that he was voting based on wagon position (Reason A) even though at the time I had interpreted it as just voting Bartozio for sheeping onto a wagon in general (Reason B). Still a little concerned about your slot but this doesn't seem to be the slam dunk I thought it was, so. ##Unvote ##Vote: Ken Masters
  7. Unvote ##Vote: BBM The Marth case looks like it's in bad faith with this in mind. Pretty sure when I first read that post I thought BBM was calling Marth lazy town which is why I forgot about it.
  8. Oh I missed the post BBM just mentioned. I actually don't like the way the case is worded there anyway because "It seems more like he's just voting due to Bart's position on the wagon more than anything" <- Marth doesn't say this so you're putting words into his mouth... except this implies Marth is actually lazy town because there's no reason for scum!Marth to vote Bartozio over that then give a different reason for it. Like, the way scum construct cases makes it extremely unlikely for them to have that thought process.
  9. What bugs me about BBM is that he acts like he's always suspected Marth (indeed, he said Marth was one of his suspicions earlier) but he's never talked about it or pressured Marth up until the vote switch, which makes me wonder if he was leaving Marth as a backburner option for when he couldn't keep the Mack vote anymore. BBM, what were your initial reasons for suspecting Marth? kirsche's vote seems to be because of a post that cut him which makes me wonder who he would have voted otherwise (if anybody) because his post doesn't telegraph any other suspicions. kirsche, is BBM your only scum read? What is your actual read on Marth? Your paragraph about him is confusingly lacking in a consistent conclusion (you take issues of him but this is after saying you like his Bart vote but it's not clear if you suspect Bart either). I think Mack has handled pressure reasonably enough but "there are good cases on me" bugs me from a tone perspective because scum is IMO more likely to think that as they know when cases are "right". Whereas a townie knows that cases on them are wrong by default. Not something I'd lynch him over but weird enough for me to keep my eye on him even though his posts have gotten better.
  10. The most irksome thing about his content so far is that he votes Bart for sheeping when without Bart's sheep he'd be doing the same thing but on the Mack wagon instead. What makes Bart's sheep particularly bad? The Bart vote seems lazy since he's not really asking for more out of Bart. Before you asked me this I was neutral on him but this bugs me now that I take another look at it.
  11. @via: for the record, had Mack made the same post but about any other player I would have asked him the same question. It was meant inquisitively, not defensively.
  12. Fair enough. I thought it was semi-serious and something had provoked it since you posted it after Refa started engaging with the thread instead of posting it in your first post. Why do you not think Ken is scum? It's not his vote we were suspicious of, it's the way he reacted to Refa's. I'm not bugged by his actual vote. I also thought it was an RVS vote but I sometimes go into games with blatantly silly thoughts like "lol I bet the mod handpicked player X as scum because arbitrary reason Y" so I was curious what he'd say if pressed on it. I actually don't think the initial Mack case is particularly strong because... he could have just thought "oh I bet Prims is scum for no reason", not taken his gut read seriously but decided it was good enough for a RVS vote, thus making it a gut read and joke vote simultaneously. Voting him over his Michelaar vote makes a little more sense after his response to BBM, though. Mack, can you elaborate more on why you think Michelaar's post is scummy? Sully is reading very much like a newb in general and I'm not sure if it's scum newb or town newb yet. Straight up admitting to trying to blend in is hmmm though - if you're town it's more important to find scum than blend in, whereas for scum it's most important to blend in and not get lynched. But I think this is the result of a newer player thinking blending in is something both alignments do (hence admitting it) so I'm not scumreading the admission. I get Refa's case but I think the difference between Sully's posts so far and the scumteam in Kemono Friends Mafia is that the scum there were actively engaging in the thread and posting opinions but just scared to vote and draw attention, whereas Sully seems completely clueless so far. (Actually Baldrick already explained this more succinctly than I did.) I'd like to see how Sully adapts as the day goes on more before considering lynching them. What bugs me most about Ken right now is that for all his bluster about not wanting to post reads this early, he completely ignores everything that isn't addressed to him and doesn't explain what he thinks about the cases that are apparently not worth agreeing with from his PoV. I'm good leaving my vote down here. Shinori, what makes the Ken case RVS shenanigans but not the Mack case?
  13. *chastising, not "chasting".
  14. Actually I took another look at this post and I think Baldrick's vote here is good because of the top line. If there's nothing incriminating then why are you chasting Refa and immediately assuming he's not just joking? Reads as fidgety and this bugs me more than the previous two reads I've mentioned. ##Unvote ##Vote: Ken Masters I can get behind the Mack vote as well if he really has nothing else to say about what's happened in thread since his first post.
  15. Both my reads are pretty weak ED1 cases but I'm more interested in what Marth is doing right now because I can see it being scum trying to seem engaged through nonstarter questions.
  16. Doing what everyone else is doing -> you blend in better -> you (hopefully for scum) don't get voted. It's a very ED1 case but it's a little bit interesting at this point in the game.
  17. Explain the reason behind this feeling, since I hadn't posted at the time you said that. Agree with Quote about early vibes from Sully, placing a vote down with no clear explanation of the intent in the initial post then explaining it as "the first rule of mafia" (eg, something they see a lot of people do) could maaaaybe come from a scum!newbie if they wanted to blend in during RVS (random voting stage, by the way). Not reading anything bad from Refa yet, though. Elaborate? ##Vote: Marth What reaction did you expect from Refa with that question? Do you think he is scum? If so, why aren't you voting him?
