It's distantly possible a buddy told him to do that but I'm not really sure who would think of the gambit. That said, I'm not enthusiastic about keeping him around if he's going to keep playing so passively, so if I'm around at deadline I'm fine consolidating on him if he doesn't up his game. I'd much rather run up Pika though - his claim that scum is looking at an easy lynch but leaving the thread with no vote instead of inquiring further looks bad to me. @Refa you should vote Pika too, I don't think GP counterwagon is happening (I much prefer a Pika lynch to GP, personally). Frustratingly, the two people I'm having iffy feelings about (Pika and Elie) haven't been active since I last posted. Bartozio could also stand to post again; his earlier post was reasonable but I'd like to see if he has come to stronger conclusions now that more has happened. Not interested in lynching FK today. Could probably be convinced to vote Marth; a player (Michelaar in this case) being "textbook lynchbait play" isn't a reason not to vote them because that doesn't actually have anything to do with their alignment. Both scum and town can fall under that category, and it's especially strange if Marth didn't mention Michelaar while thinking there was two hours until deadline because Michelaar was the leading wagon and almost certainly would have been the lynch if that was the case. So why neglect talking about the leading wagon at all, unless he just didn't want to be involved with it at all after the flip? @FK, @Michelaar: who would you lynch if not your current vote targets? We're getting down to the last 12 or so hours and I don't think there's much interest in lynching Proto or Mack at the moment.

Still perfectly content lynching Michelaar today, not only for mafia pragmatism reasons but because his posts read like scum. "I haven't played mafia in a long while" is a really strange excuse because... most people here haven't played much mafia recently and we're all posting just fine. His posts are focused more on the votes on him than on finding scum; even when he gives actual opinions it's because people were prodding him to do so and there's no reason he couldn't have done so to begin with. Pika_pika is a secondary scumread. I already voiced my dislike for his rolefishing toward Elie in his first post, but his follow-up is just one big waffle which ends in "not comfortable voting, need to read through carefully again" which just has me wondering why he didn't just do it then if he believed a re-read would help him come up with a vote? What gives me pause here is that FK acts like this is normal for him. @Elieson: you also have experience with Pika, right? what is your read on him so far? ftr I actually do want to get a non-contributors like Michelaar/Pika/Mack out of the way today and not later. Mack doesn't bug me as much as the other two but I do want him to make more of an effort to contribute the way everybody else is. As for the other players, Refa's case on GP is solid. Elie ignoring FK's picture reads as willful ignorance. Like, I can't see how you could not tell what FK was getting at with the picture, which makes me wonder if Elie is retroactively making excuses here. Also, BBM's vote on FK looks very forced to me. @BBM: you acknowledge his point about mack's progression but "feel" like it's mostly still based on the first post and refusing to accept that it was a joke? and this interpretation of FK's priorities magically outprioritizes what he's actually said about why he's voting Mack? please back this up if you're going to actually push that. although the way you phrased that part of your case sounds like you think FK is town voting for questionable reasons so I'm pretty baffled in general here. You seemed to express suspicion for Pika and GP earlier, why is FK a better vote? @Faerie Knight: how was mack's post a "scumslip"? I don't see the slip part. what makes Michelaar seem like floundering newb-town and not floundering newb-scum?

uhhhh that only applies if you're scum. town isn't going to lynch you if they think your thought process looks like a town thought process. getting killed at night by scum for your thought process isn't a big concern when every other player is also revealing their thought process anyway. if you don't explain yourself AT ALL the most obvious conclusion is that you're concealing your thought process because yours is a mafia one

The two unexplained votes on Proto unnerve me contextually because they happen right after an experienced player talks about vote stacking being useful early on, so they could have read BBM's post then decided to post wordless wagon hops as a cover for not actually responding to what was going on. You could have maybe quickhammered SB and tried to play it off as a mistake and get me lynched the next day, but that could have easily backfired too and I'm not sure if you were even around when SB was at L-1. Town does tend to doubt themselves especially if it looks like everybody including the players who they'd think are obvious scum still seem to be putting effort into the game, but I still wouldn't blame anybody for giving up there, especially after subbing in. Also given there was a rolecop too it might have legit been 100% impossible.

Town really shouldn't have had a rolecop lmao. That basically was almost a normal cop since Omniguard was the only scum that worked as a claim. Other than that I think the set-up was alright.

gg all. I feel pretty good about my Paperblade/FK push but tbh shout-out to SB for being much more on-point than I was and the real MVP Elie for vigging Shin. We might have still won without that but it certainly locked our victory. Also my bad re:D2 wagon on Elie. I literally did not realize he was going to keep catching up and thought he intended to leave us with a bunch of shaky D1 reads for some reason? And also I just never really suspected Shin that much for whatever reason. Feels like my play this game could've been much better even though it wasn't really bad. Was there a scum QT?
