  1. yeah, fair. I just think they should go on a queue if people are going to take them this seriously rather than as fun filler games. It's very frustrating to see them start interfering with people's play in other mafia games.
  2. actually Izhuark also cited EiMM as a reason for inactivity so I don't even fucking know anymore. EiMM was a mistake. I kind of want to just turbo Shin and be done with today.
  3. TBH if people want to host EIMM games as functional multifaction games they should have to take up spots on the OC queue. the way i've always seen eimm done until SF was just a fun filler game between actual games of mafia and if people are writing walls of text about game drama then something's not being done right not that the queues are functional right now laffo
  4. nah but OC with only one winner is probably better than no communication.
  5. what there really should be is no communication at all besides shooting people, i just allowed it when i first hosted eimm here because it's funny, but people trying to play it like multifaction honestly ruins the game which is why i play the way i do. if anything then if outside communication is allowed there should only be one allowed winner (apart from maybe third party shenanigans), which is how this was originally hosted anyway. losing in eimm doesn't really matter the way it does in normal mafia because you have no team you're responsible for. removing joint winning would reinforce that and also means nobody has to worry about backstabbing because then if you try teamsies it's literally 100% impossible to win without it
  6. On D1 Izhuark's play didn't bug me too much because, hey, he may have not been doing much other than squabbling with Cam and responding to people, but also it was Day 1 so there wasn't really much more to do. Now it isn't Day 1 and there's more to talk about, so the fact that his play still seems to follow a pattern of "make vote, vanish, only post to respond to people who find him suspicious" starts to get concerning. It doesn't help that his scumhunting isn't too strong - Elie is a really easy vote to make right now and his case doesn't seem to go much beyond "Elie was inactive and only popped up at the end of the day". Despite switching my vote I still do heavily suspect the Paper slot as I think since Paper dislike playing scum he's more likely to be affected by outside issues to the point of subbing out as mafia, especially with votes stacked on him. In light of skimming what happened in EiMM though I'm willing to give the sub a chance.
  7. OKAY having skimmed the EiMM drama this doesn't bug me as much now (it happened around the time people were cancelling the game) but I still ultimately think the slot is scum. w/e
  8. i didnt read this shit but seems like this is why eimm games should be NOC
  9. Another thing: my town-read on Izhuark is waning because after the list post he hasn't done much except respond to people again, which is making him much less active than D1 and there's a correlation with less pressure on him as well. His approach seems to be "make a vote, respond to people who might vote you" rather than to keep up with the day's going-ons, which strikes me as scum play.
  10. While I said I'd vote the wagon just to get rid of the inactive, his play this game reminds me more of Flaming Hot from Volcanic than anything. Which is unfortunate because I don't like to remember hosting Volcanic.
  11. EBWOP: "We should really just lynch the Paperblade slot today though. I don't think his excuse is necessarily invalid but the situation making him sub out only in response to votes on him is scummy."
  12. SB's Shin case is actually pretty good. I don't have anything to add, but I'm not opposed to that lynch. Would like to see Shin's upcoming non-Cam content; that will probably help me get a better feel for that slot. We should really just lynch the Paperblade slot today. though I don't think his excuse is necessarily invalid but the situation making him sub out only in response to votes on him is scummy. @Elieson get the fuck in here and also vote paper with me
  13. Refa posts a lynch priority Refa votes me over Elie despite Elie being higher up in his lynch priority  This bugs me because I can see scum!Refa being concerned he'd get flak if he jumped on the Elie wagon at that point in the day without Elie doing anything. It's weird though because Elie was his main suspicion on D1. Normally I could see this being a pressure vote on me but well if he would do that as town then he shouldn't really be voting me LMAO
  14. While I don't know what's happening in EiMM, the Paper sub request doesn't really change my opinion on the slot (demotivated scum is a thing) and if anything I think it's more likely to come from mafia at this point but I'm not sure how to articulate why. I guess it's because it happened in response to pressure on him? Town in a bad headspace would want to sub out if outside forces are interfering with their scumhunting (eg back on D1), but scum in the same situation would want be more inclined to sub out if they can't properly defend themself against a wagon (right now). RE: Refa's case: I've felt better about Cam since his post-spam so I don't know what you expect. I don't really want to lynch him today. Elie dropped off the face of the earth again so I guess I'll be voting there if I have to vote a wagon that isn't me. Not sure how I feel about the Shin cases yet. Need to re-read him. TBH I want to just lynch the Paper slot and not have to worry about a sub.
  15. why tf would bbm not be scum killing town he was basically the towniest dude alive d1
  16. Sure. They're different in function and we don't know the full details of either of them.
  17. Or Boron just got targeted by a scum roleblock.
  18. I thought Cam was scummy, although not as likely to flip scum as Gaius, and wanted to see how he would react to more pressure so I could get a better read on him. His reaction made me feel better and I wanted to try and get a Gaius wagon going since a lot of people had expressed interest in that lynch despite not voting him, so I switched back. That's the best I can explain my actions. ##Vote: Paperblade On a re-read, his D1 content fails to inspire, I feel. Even his ED1 SB vote that helped get the game going required Cam to comment before he actually made it - before that it was just a one-off comment. Overall, it just doesn't really look like he was making an effort to scumhunt. He kept a vote down on Izhuark all day but wasn't particularly passionate about it - it's interesting here when he asks why BBM thinks Izhuark is town but when BBM responds he just... doesn't really try to convince BBM or continue the discussion. Besides that he didn't look into anybody else the entire day besides maaaybe a couple comments about Gaius and Elie where you still can't really tell what Paperblade thinks about them after reading the post. I could get on board with a Refa lynch. I agree he was a lesser presence on D1 and spent too much time coasting on the Elie vote. I don't like the way he went out of his way to say the Gaius vote is just as bad when he switched; that type of self-deprecation reads like scum to me because he's overly concerned with how people are interpreting his actions. SB might be scum, honestly. I don't really have a case there, my intuition just tells me his play this game looks like his scum play. What he said about Gaius here looks like he knows Gaius is about to flip town and is trying too hard to justify why scum!Gaius would post the VT claim. Like, the "I think scum!Gaius' team isn't here to help him out" line specifically bugs me on this front. Zeonth's last minute posts and Junko's subsequent effort makes me feel better about that slot, so despite the lack of D1 content I'm not really interested in lynching it. Elie I'm not too sure about because even though his last minute vote on Paperblade is right he kind of... didn't say anything about all the people who were actually popular candidates when he caught up. I want to hear more from him today.
  19. I said when I switched back to Gaius that I voted Cam because I wanted to see how he'd react to a wagon on him and my Gaius vote wasn't going anywhere at the time (Gaius hadn't recently posted).
