Fire Emblem Three Houses Movie (spoilers)
Jakalak replied to Onestep's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
They also mentioned that adjutants don’t take a deployment slot, so you can bring your benched characters into battle to help keep them from falling behind. Seems like a really solid mechanic. -
Fire Emblem Three Houses Movie (spoilers)

That cutscene was really awesome. I can’t believe there was so much blood. Every time they give us more info about this game I just get the dumbest smile on my face. See you all on the other side on the 26th. -
Classes You Know About, Expect to See, or Want to See
Jakalak replied to vanguard333's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I wonder if they really plan to have only Peg knights as female exclusive, when males get 3 exclusive class lines. It’s kinda sad that the only brand new class we have seen so far is male locked. While it won’t hurt my enjoyment of the game since I’ll be playing male, it just seems strange to me that they would do that especially in the case of the hero class. -
PlayerEssence talking about FE16 on Twitch
Jakalak replied to escotanner's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yeah, I felt it was worth mentioning since so far most of the audio is either quiet or has someone talking over it. Cool that Player Essence made sure to include some clear audio at the request of his viewers!- 37 replies

PlayerEssence talking about FE16 on Twitch

This has clear audio of Rhea, Lysithea, Ferdinand, Linhardt, and Seteth’s English voices. That’s probably the biggest takeaway from this, so it’s worth watching if anyone wants to hear them speak.- 37 replies

Just looking at the the background behind the students, it’s not the same location that tutoring takes place in at the academy. The tutoring mechanic is still be there in some form, but I don’t necessarily think it is at the school. In fact, looking at the floor beneath their feet those two students are not being tutored in the same spot.

We can really only speculate of course, but I can think of a couple scenarios. Maybe she’s the abused type? Treated terribly and works almost as a slave to her masters. Maybe she’s just evil but is being strangled for failing in her duty after a defeat by the player. Maybe she’s just insane. Who knows!

Fire Emblem: Three Houses Special Edition (1)
Jakalak replied to Emblemier Ben's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I have the American one preordered. This release is something I’m really hyped for and I generally don’t allow myself to splurge on special editions. I really wanted the art book and CD, plus that sweet steelbook case. Calendar is ehhhh but that’s fine.- 29 replies

I would argue that it’s normal to have some shared traits here and there. What will matter is if they do enough to help us understand why Bernadetta and Marianne are shy and differentiate the two of them. Just looking at these two characters, from my perspective at least, I see Bernadetta as a classically shy character who is not very complex. Marianne on the other hand seems to have her shyness rooted in problems she has with her self worth. It’s intriguing, I wonder if something happened to her to make her want to isolate herself.

I don’t think the sword has anything to do with it, just having a crest reveals that a person is not from a common bloodline. That being said it would be cool to have a student like Leonie find out her family is secretly of noble blood. I doubt it would happen though because that is Byleth’s story as far as we know right now.

The official Three Houses site has launched
Jakalak replied to Thane's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
The timeskip might have some drastic changes to looks, hopefully there will be something for everybody. Also yeah, every music track I’ve listened to so far has been awesome. -

I have to imagine it’s frustrating to be LGBT and have your avatar (who is supposed to represent you in this game) only given straight romance options in 2019. Things are a bit pre mature though, this is a short class list. There is a possibility there will be gay options among other characters. It does suck that none of the blue lions fulfill that. We will just have to wait and see what happens. -
Since it’s a console title I wouldn’t be surprised if it was lengthy. Radiant Dawn had almost 40 chapters if I remember correctly.

E3 Three Houses (Nintendo Direct) Info Thread
Jakalak replied to Corrobin's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
That was so amazing. I wanna cry right now, it’s beautiful. Looks like it’s gonna be Edelgard vs Dimitri with Claude trying to save their friendships. -
I’m expecting a story trailer, as we have yet to get a proper one. They’ve mostly been showing the setting and the school mechanics while giving us small hints at what the story could be about, and they will need a hype trailer at e3 because the marketing for this game has been really flat in the west.

Reddit Leak Thread (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)
Jakalak replied to Crecentful's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
You’ll likely get introductions to the main lords when you save them at the beginning, then you’ll go to the monastery where they will formally introduce themselves. Then they’ll let you walk around meeting the students before you choose your house. Anyway, I don’t think it’s fair to say that the choice is bad because we have no indication of the consequences. It’s not exciting if you already know where the story is going to go. Maybe some will grow to hate Edelgard, and that’s okay. Some people will support her methods, that’s okay too. Divisive characters are a good thing, it leads to extra discussion and analysis of the character. Hopefully resulting in a deeper understanding of her motives and personality. Plus, keeps things from getting too boring. Also, odds are you will get attached to at least a couple of your students throughout the game. Even if you end up disliking your main lord, hopefully at least one of the other 7 will make it up to you haha
