  1. Surprisingly, this actually makes sense with Awakening's "canon" pairings. Owain's canon father is Vaike, whose hair is blonde. Inigo's canon father is Henry, with gray hair. Severa's canon father is Libra, which would make her hair blonde. So according to these pairings, hers would actually be the only one that was changed. I'm surprised they paid that much attention to detail there, to be honest. Otherwise, I agree. This whole alternate/ parallel world and Deeprealm stuff seems to be very rushed, confusing, and contradicting at times. Even the main storyline is, in many cases.
  2. You know that once you get like 60 or so Calling Cards, it will overwrite the oldest one to add the newest one, right?
  3. 1. You can capture Daniela in Birthright and Haitaka and Fumagera in Conquest. The other capturable bosses are in children's Paralogues. Besides that, you can only capture generic unnamed enemy units. 2. These are Cipher units, which come with Trading Card packs, which, unfortunately, I believe is Japanese-only for now.
  4. Are you sure? Because I've heard that it depends on the difficulty of the path and/or features of the character you select. The problem is that I'm getting different answers from different sources. The section on Serene's Forest hints at this but isn't clear either.
  5. Once you clear the Endgame on file, you can choose 5 characters in that file to add to the Logbook. You can do this infinitely on a particular file I believe, but must beat clear the Endgame each time to add 5 more. This is the only way to exchange characters between files on the same game card, as far as I know My Question: What EXACTLY determines which resources you get in your castle? For example, why did I get Daikon on one run and Fish in the next?
  6. Has anyone done a Lunatic LTC yet, at least for Chapters 1-6? Can't find a sign of one anywhere. There's a Hard Mode LTC, but the Chapter 2 strategy, if even possible on Lunatic, requires extreme luck with a lot of dodges against 90% hit rates and whatnot. So, does anyone have a real Lunatic LTC strategy?
  7. Can someone definitively say how to pronounce Shigure's name? Is it pronounced like "SHEE-gurr-ay" or some other way? EDIT: Never mind, it seems Azura pronounces it "shih-GURR-ay" ingame. :P
  8. We'd have to get into the developer's minds to figure that one out. It's probably because of the existence of Naginatas (many other classes besides Great Lord seem to have slashing lance animations). I don't think any previous Fire Emblem had slashing lance animations or naginatas. I agree, though, that it's laziness to use that same slashing animation for regular Nohrian lances.
  9. How does Lunatic in Birthright/Conquest/Revelation compare to Lunatic/Lunatic+ difficulty in Awakening? (Answer separately for each as needed) How hard is it to grind for experience/gold or recruit characters (through other Castles etc.) to make it through?

  11. Thanks for the feedback. I cleared Chapter 4 in one turn using Logbook Galeforcers, but I had Second Seal + Boots Cavalier Robin (paired with Chrom) attack the Fighter on the left before anything else. Doing this, I noticed that the chapter heroes are always "Robin and Chrom" even though the least of everyone on the map. I also noticed that the names are always displayed in that order (Robin first), even if I switch and have Chrom launch the attack with Robin unequipped. I've also noticed that it seems impossible for any non-Supportable pair (such as Chrom and Lon'qu) to be chapter heroes. Another interesting note is that it seems the chapter heroes for Premonition are always "None" regardless of what you do, and Chrom/Robin never get the heart icon that indicates Support on that chapter. From this, I would assume that Vascela is correct and that the chapter heroes will always be either a Support pair or "None." The one thing I'm still wondering, though, is the order the names are displayed. Is it always a pre-determined order like the order names appear in the Support Log? Is it based on something units do during their chapter, or maybe their individual Unit Rating? IIRC, my old file had both "Frederick and Chrom" and "Chrom and Frederick" displayed for different chapters (no way to check this, though). Any insight into this?
  12. I like Ephraim and his warrior personality. Gotta piggyback off what everyone else said and agree with Lyon as well. It's a very interesting hero-villain dynamic, The Demon King is much more of an intimidating/worthy final boss than a mere dragon. I also love the fact that there's a world map with grind spots, and an Epilogue. The old-school Fire Emblem style doesn't strike my fancy.
  13. Some say this glitch can be done without PWASE tiles, but I can't find footage of it anywhere. Can someone clarify whether it's possible or not? I want to do a run where I use the CEG to get all the limited/unobtainable items (Demon Light in particular).
  14. Has anyone figured out the exact mechanics behind this? What determines which name is shown first? Is it possible to have only one hero? Is it feasible or possible to manipulate this, so that the "Heroes" you want will be displayed, while still using Logbook units to clear Chapters in 1 turn? Thanks in advance.
  15. My headcanon pairings are: MU x Anna (Infinite Annas, just like there are infinite MUs with Streetpass. Also, Anna seems to have a modern/out-of-game awareness that no other character has.) Chrom x Sumia (Extremely obvious. Look at the opening scene before the title screen- it's Chrom and Sumia. Also, the "Lovebirds" scene...) Vaike x Lissa (Good match, great Support convo. Owain's personality makes a lot of sense with this pairing, and gives him the official artwork hair color.) Frederick x Cordelia (Whoever gets Cordelia gets a bummer deal since she will always dream of being with Chrom instead. Frederick's life is dedicated to serving Chrom over himself. Severa's attitude makes sense with this pairing.) Virion x Sully (Tough call, but the Ch.1 scene biases me somewhat. Also, Cherche seems to have "friend zoned" Virion hardcore.) Stahl x Cherche (Again, tough call, but they're a good couple and I think they just look better together than Virion/Cherche and Stahl/Sully) Donnel x Miriel (No one makes sense with Miriel, really. They have a nice Support convo though, and you can kind of see how this would work out) Ricken x Maribelle (Both like each other and come from noble houses. Brady doesn't make sense with any father, but this one's pretty hilarious.) Henry x Panne (He was raised by wolves, loves animals, and can communicate with them) Gaius x Olivia (Both come from sketchy street backgrounds. He likes sweet things, Olivia is a sweet girl and Gaius has the charm to pull this off. He calls her "baby" from the very first conversation and she completely accepts it. Makes sense with Inigo.) Gregor x Nowi (Ch.8 scene. He likes dragons and wyverns. She's over 1,000 years old but looks...young. Nah makes more sense here than with quite a few others) Libra x Tharja (He's the only one who would truly put up with her. Noire makes sense this way.) Forever alone: Kellam and Lonqu (Kellam's identity is being missed and forgotten. Lonqu's identity is being unable to cope with women.) Owain x Lucina (Keepin' it in the family lol. Their ending makes a lot of sense this way, though. No one else really seems to match her any better.) Inigo x Severa (He's the only one who would tolerate her attitude. She's one of the few with low enough self-esteem to be with him. Kind of reminiscent of Virion/Sully.) Brady/Cynthia (He likes her. She's not fazed by his rough-character demeanor.) Gerome/Kjelle (She actually admires and looks up to him as a warrior. He's not offended by her rashness. The A Support is golden.) Yarne/Noire (Seems obvious. Both are jumpy scaredy-cats who confide in each other. Both have Dark Mage parents, in this case.) Laurent/Morgan (Both are tactically-minded mages who like studying/training. Personalities compliment well.) Forever alone: Nah (By default, since the others were already paired. She has thousands of years to find someone anyway.)
