Take a page out of Telluis' book: have characters with actual armor in battle - including helmets. That way when the big bad shows up to shock and awe, your custom avatar is fully covered and totally impossible to tell whether they have pink hair or a butt-chin.

Question about FEH Pass. How does it work with Resplendents? You get some free of charge, yes? If so, then A) how many, B) do you get the current one, and C) do you get the upcoming ones?

When you break a barrier, the monster gets stunned. Notice that it has yellow swirly-bits flying about its head. When you break all barriers, the monster gets broken. It'll have red swirly-bits about its head and you'll get a bit of ore. Once it gets broken, it cannot counter for a turn, won't attack on it's next turn, and thereafter cannot regain any barriers after any following AoE attacks. This is typically the best way to kill monsters..

Note: the following may be opinionated. Pros: most mobile FE, good time sink, decent F2P capabilities, many game modes, entertaining. Cons: Fanservice+++++++++, gatchas are evil, power creep, IS focusing (nearly) exclusively on popular characters. I think that sums FEH up quite well.

'/ = OR', not '/ = &'. I meant remove Canto OR reduce their growths, not remove Canto AND reduce their growths. As for Canto becoming a non-class locked skill, it'd be interesting. Something like Galeforce, but less OP. Depends on how the game is balanced, but it could be good.

Flying vs Grounded? Unbalance incarnate. Flying in TH has all the benefits and none of the drawbacks, save their battalions that is. Dismount is the main problem. Normally Fliers cannot take advantage of terrain and are weak to bows. Dismount nulls both of those weaknesses, and also permits usage of Gauntlets. Grounded class have a plethora of problems. Non-mounted classes tend to have terrible mobility, the ones that do have other problems, and Mounted units have iffy stats. Easiest way to fix the problem would be to remove Dismount and reduce Fliers growths/remove Canto from them. Is it harsh? Yes, but Fliers are overwhelming powerful. If you have the DLC, you very well can make an all Flying team. But I guess that's another example of TH being too much of a sandbox.

Ah, good 'ol Telluis. My favorite FE universe. And yes, I daresay that Telluis is in another universe, given it has an actual all-powerful, creator deity, and all the others merely have Dragons playing god. Aside from that side tangent, Telluis the best! Why? Discounting the RD Plot-Contract, it is the best in every category, whether that's story, gameplay, or characters. I think they were talking about 'Makalov the best', not 'Telluis the best'.

Ooo, Genealogy! One of my more liked FEs. Julia doesn't Inherit, so Deirdre's inventory is better off being sold in Chapter 3. The Silver Sword works well enough for Seliph, but honorable mentions go to the hidden Shield Sword, Brave Sword, Leg Ring, Knight Ring, and a Magic Sword. Lief can only inherit Swords, so Ethlyn can sell her staves in Chapter 3. Light Brand is great, aside from that, maybe an Armorslayer? Lief will be fighting a lot of Armors early on. Altena joins so late, I'd recomend only giving Quan a couple of Lances (Silver & Javelin?). Lex can't buy Swords, and Scathach (Screw that name!) can only inherit Swords. The only two Lex can get are the Bolt Sword and Silver Blade that drop from 2 of the Chapter 3 bosses. It's more than a little difficult to get, however, given both bosses get WTA and the Castle avoid bonus. Past that, once you're reay to move onto Gen2, just sell Lex's gear for a little gold. Ayra can just pass down the Brave Sword, or if you gave that to Seliph, then a Silver Sword works. Midir can pass down both the Killer and Brave Bows, unless you want Brigid to pass one down. Similarly Aideen can simply pass down the Staves she uses (Warp & Mend?). For this pairing, anything the parents can use, their kids can use as well. Not MK!Raquesis, of course, but any Sword or C rank Staff is fair game for Nanna. At this point, the good Swords are spread thin, so Steel Blades and/or Magic Swords work well enough. Ced comes with Light, so aside from Staves, Forseti is all he could ever need. I'd recommend giving Erin the Brave Lance, as only she or Quan can pass it down, and Fee uses it better than Altena. .Tailte can't pass the Thoron down, so sell that. Aside from that note, none of the Gen1 tomes they can use are particularly good. Wind is the best of them, so give that to Arthur. Bridget should pass down the Silver Bow, or maybe the Killer Bow if you don't want Lester to have it. Patty can only get B Swords, so maybe a Magic Sword (The hidden Wind Sword in particular). I'd say Brave, but she's too weak to use it well. Neither of these kid'll ever be good in combat. Cairpre (Is that the right name?) will inherit Claude's Staves. His Magic won't be good enough to use Status Staves well for a long time, so just some healing/utility staves work. As for Leen, the Knight and Leg Rings work wonderfully, if Sylvia can afford them. Looks like some good, but standard parings. Genealogy's pretty fun, even if it is longwinded. Hope you enjoy yourself.
