Star War KOTOR was my favorite. Storming the Star forge, letting your force powers flex, getting your ultimate armor lol it was awesome ' and either of the shining force games... The strategy involved, the story and Dark sol's theme was awesome!!!

Its easily done in Nightmare. First you need the Character Editor (say you choose lyn tutorial) This is where you can change the characters stats, staring items, abilities and palatte. However to make your character appear you need to use the Chapter unit editor. This is where you choose the starting level and the actual class of the character. You have to use both for it to work properly. This video helped me get started

My favorite villian of all time was Shishio Makoto from ruroni kenshin. He was an assassin who was shot in the head, set on fire, and betryaed by his own government. HIs response? to come back, gather some of the strongest fighters in the country and take over Japan. The best part is...he is never really beaten by kenshin. Due to his severe scarring from his burns. Shishio couldnt produce sweat to cool down his body. When he fought kenshin, he pushed his body so far he literally burst into flames... and he died laughing. So my name is a testament to an awesome character who embodied the sins of the government and died fighting for his beliefs

A lack of Character Motivation, why are they doing what they are doing and why should we care? If you can't immerse yourself in the plot then you might is well not tell the story

*Facepalm* So to make custom colors on a sprite, I have to create a custom sprite?

Is this the right tool to use to create a custom palatte for a character? I was having a hard time using Bwdyeti's fe recolor program But for some reson the changes I make to the characters animation here it dont keep in the rom. After I make the palette changes, I click save....and the changes disappear

So I find myself at a bit of a crossroads in my hacking journey. My hack's story is based in a new world ( a combination of Genesis age Phantasy Star and Telenet's Warrior of Valis) therefore there is a bit of a backstory that should be explained (especially if people are not familiar with the storylines of those games.) So my question is this, what is the best way to show and not tell that backstory? I dont want to have paragraphs upon paragraphs of text, but without the back sotry alot of the characters motivations wont make sense. One method I did like was in the hack "Dream of five" where reading Renais's Journal was an option... what have yall done in response to this issue? or is it best to just explain the history of the land despite the fact it may seem boring?

You really have to be paitent with hacking, Learning to change everything is tough the first time in (i celebrated for three days when i managed to succesfully change a characters name) but make a few copies of FE7 and just play. Play around, its the best way to learn honestly Luffy's ulitmate hack tutorial, Arch's tutorials, and Markyjoe1990's mappy tutorial have helped me a lot.
