Sorry to interrupt all the awesome history talk and speculation, but... I finally uploaded every single full body portrait available in the book/game. Every character/civilian/enemy/monster/etc. Enjoy! Every character seen above has a profile/description that makes the meat of this translation project. I cut out the text to save image space/file size, but figured people may want the pictures first. I'm working on concept art, but I plan to upload those with the translations rather than isolating the image like here.

You know, all this time I never realized that. xD Either way I hope to get the rest of those up sooner than later. So many pages to scan! Also updated with some artworks of Celica found across the book!

Yes, Duma has one in the profile section, as do the other villains. The profile artworks are from the in-game art, so this gallery was only out-of-game artworks..of which Duma seems to have none. xD But I think those I should save for when they're translated rather than posting then translating separately... Though if people are in a rush to have the in-game artworks I can see about getting the raw scans up too. Ah, maybe I'll just edit out all the text and provide the images, and then present the translations later on.

Today's update! All official character artwork! i hope the wiki workers find them useful. May have to play with saturation a bit as the scanner may have lit them a little lighter than wanted. But I hope you can make use of them.

Huh I was tagged by the above but no longer? Either way I made a project thread for this book already, and hope to get the quality scans in tomorrow when it arrives. : ) You'll get all the artworks/profiles and such up soon! Amazon Japan would be my go-to one. xD

If you think of it from the Japanese perspective, it sounds pretty English and exotic. Sometimes that's all a title needs! It's only to English speakers it probably sounds strange. xD If it ever does officially come over, I assume that name would change.

Interesting... I see some of that additional info comes from the concept pages, but indeed if those summaries are true perhaps I ought to focus on the profiles that offer additional information. I wonder if I can get some translation help from some of the others then. Either way, I'll focus on getting the quality scans first and then work out who does what. These pages have fancier backgrounds then Tellius Recollection as well, so wonder if I'll have to make ugly boxes to fill in or not... xD Well let's see. As you all said I'll try not to overwork myself! I'm going through some important things in my life too, but I'm going to try to consistently upload!

Sorry for a bit of a gap! Got super busy, but I finished the last two pages --making this project complete! Bulk download will be up later on as I do a final edit run to fix some things! Probably some other Fire Emblem deities we see appear in other games and the like. xD

New page is up! Faye roasts some of the others, and Alm shows a passive aggressive side. xD It is kind of strange huh? But like complaints for Faye show too, they really play up those aspects to those characters huh? (In fact the latest comic has Faye grilling some of the others for their "main traits" too xD)

New page is up! Delthea and a search for a brother lamer than her own --and she may have found it in Conrad. xD (I like Conrad though!)

I don't think it actually does (as far as I know!) so that's probably just for this particular gag. xD

New page is up! This one I had to research to realize the joke they were making in the first panel, and it just involves Fernand's inventory (Bread on first encounter, Honey on second, and only an Iron Lance on third xD) The other one just answers what happens when you leave a spring alone it seems xD

Whoops realized I forgot to mention that Page 11 is up! But you all seem to have noticed anyway xD Yep! I slapped my forehead when I kept making sure I put no E's in Clair and there it appeared so naturally xD I made a note on my blog that it'll be fixed in the final run : ) By "too young" she's talking pure age rather than appearance, and so to build up to the comical punchline about her aiming as high as Duma (and beyond) xD And indeed, more a comical threat than an in-character threat on Celica's part. Exaggerations everywhere!

I took a look at it again and see where I got it slightly mixed up. I edited that bit to make it more clear xD Thanks! That's what I had thought too so didn't think too hard on it, but looked it over and realize my wording was a little mixed. I fixed it regardless so thanks! : )

Page 10 is up! Celica's team gets the focus as they poke fun at the animated scene with her and Alm. The second comic pokes fun at the Temple of Mila map design (and a silly Nomah) That's a nice way to look at it! You get silly supports out of it this way : ) It seems to be a favorite among many so far! (Me included xD) Indeed, I found it pretty depressing because of how genuinely happy she looks with that indirect confession xD (And it flying over his head)

Japan only indeed it seems so far! And I do love me some art books! That said, I feel like someone will get onto it much faster than I would as is the case with the newer games these days : ) (that or maybe it'll get officially localized down the line like the Knights of Iris book?) That said I may add it to preorder anyway, and if nobody gets to it I'll try scanning the artworks and translating any fun interviews or other things that may come up!

Page 9 is up! It's the first page of Chapter 2 of the 4komas, under a new artist! Today's features more Faye and Alm love, though much cuter rather than creepy! Perfect xD I'm glad someone noticed and found it amusing xD

Page 8 is up! That ends the first chapter/first half of them! We get a stab at Luthier being friendless once again --as well as a creepy Faye once again to wrap things up! I do wonder if we'll see something like that in the future! Delthea probably doesn't count the cats xD I've been around but haven't done comics in awhile! Nice to have returning fans! See today's comic! xD They did draw her pretty cute for someone suffering! xD

I really appreciate it... whenever anyone comes across a translation and remembers me. xD I've really been wanting to comb through that book again, trying to gather up money for a second copy that I can de-spine and get high quality scans and re-translate it all. Back then it was all done super literal, and I'd love to give it a proper flowing translation! But yes, the ages from that book were mostly in ranges rather than specific, but it's all there is that I know of!

Page 7 is up! Features Delthea messing up things for Luthier, and then a meta joke on how questionable some recovery items (and using them) can be. I'm very happy to hear that!
