I personally always put Morgan in grandmaster because I always stay in the starting class tree but that's how I play.

Sumia and Olivia are basically tied for best Lucina mother, but Inigo gets more perks than Cynthia does so I would say Inigo unless you're not grinding in which case Sumia for easy access for better starting stats and galeforce. (Also what difficulty is this on?)

Severa was never bullied. She just has an inferiority complex and she also had friends which were all the future children really

For playable characters: MU- bland as all hell but not too much on this one because what can you do with a self insert. Say'ri- just boring and bland Kjelle- all she talks about is fighting and training and supports are pretty bad too. Where Sully's motivation to train and become strong is to prove that women are as capable as men, Kjelle seems to not have one. YARNE!!-I hate this guy out of any character in Awakening! He has no redeeming qualities worth mentioning! While Yarnes friends fight for their lives, Yarne just says " Screw them! I'll just hide and watch my friends fight for their lives because my life matters more than a couple because I'm the last taguel." Panne doesn't have this problem and I know Yarne is brought up in a apocalyptic world but he so were his friends so he should grow a backbone and help them. As for non playable units basically all of them except for Mustafa and especially Yen'fay I mean c'mon dev team! You made me feel sad when we killed Mustafa with Yen'fay he dies and we are supposed to feel bad for him! Also for a top ranking general he is so easy to kill. He just isn't a memorable character at all.

The only flaw about this idea is we would have to go through some form of "canon pairings" and we know how messy that can get.

The interesting thing about the characters being from the present timeline would be interesting because some of them would behave totally differently. For example, in Severa and Cynthia's Harvest Scramble convo, it reveals Cynthia was very effeminate and shallow and became the Cynthia we all know and love because of Sumia dying. Also, Severa acts the way she acts because she was traumatized by Cordelia's death and felt that Cordelia left and died for Chrom and not her family and would be generally nice. Evidence to back this up would be Henry and Cordelia's ending " Henry settled down with Cordelia and turned out to be a surprisingly good father. Their newborn daughter grew up in a peaceful world with two loving parents and was said to be a likeable girl."

I would love this and maybe then they can explain the gaping plothole of why Lucina's sword sometimes shines. Seriously that happens twice counting dlc and also is mentioned in Lucy and Cynhia's non siblling support!

You should also take note that one of the male child units will have to go unloved sadly.

Tharja does that too in a weird, Tharjaish way.

You could have Chrom marry Maribelle. Then you're getting good magic on Morgan and aether as well

I thought that it said something about them being separated in battle. (which makes me ponder why a child Owain is in a battle )

I honestly don't think either one is better or worse than the other and both have their ups and downs. So it really comes down to personal preference.

Very true but for best MAG results the avatar should marry tharja or Ricken should be Noire's father for best MAG which is Female Morgan's equivalent to Ricken!Laurent!Morgan

Unless you're doing Ricken x Tharja!Noire I say just marry Tharja because with gaius as her father, she will have the same MAG as tharja would. other than that they're solid pairings

well I see Gerome as more of a support tank over an overall attacking unit so I would want DG+

put Frederick or Kellam with Cherche
