  1. I had some time on my hands and with those other posts gathering steam, I thought it'd be neat to judge characters' chances of getting in by three metrics. Relevancy (To the plot) Uniqueness (Weapon, class, appearance) Popularity (Choose Your Legends) Each has four tiers, 1st nets four, 2nd nets 3, 3rd nets 2 and 4th nets 1. Popularity is judged at half, meaning characters get 0.5 per tier, though only the top four can get it. This is very formulaic and samey. And this only counts FE11,12,13 and 14. Going through the others would be a nightmare and there'd probably be too many characters to count. Also, any grievances regarding how characters are placed should be discussed. If a character deserves a better tier in anyone's eyes then it'll be put to a vote. Certain classes have been shoved in with others because there weren't enough members to warrant it, such as peg knights and wyvern riders in the same set named 'Fliers' Horse-Riders Sword-Fighter Archers Axe-Guys Knights and Lance-Guys Fliers Mages Shifters Foot Healers Hidden Weapons As a tl;dr Horse-Riders top three: Leo - 9 points Walhart/Xander (8 points) Sword-Fighter top three: Yen'Fay/Ryoma/Sumeragi (7 points) Archers top three: Takumi (9 points) Jeorge/Mikoto (7 points) Axe-Guys top three: Legion/Basilio (6 points) Rinkah (5.5 points) Knights and Lance-Guys top three: Azura (9 points) Hardin (8 points) Lorenz (6 points) Fliers top three: Aversa/Camilla (8 points) Caeda (7.5 points) Mages top three: Gharnef (8 points) Gotoh/Validar (7 points) Shifters top three: Lilith (8 points) Tiki (Old) (6.5 points) Bantu/Xane/Rainbow Sage (6 points) Foot Healers top three: Sakura (7 points) Lissa (6.5 points) Elice (5 points) Hidden Weapons top three: Yukimura/Felicia (7 points) Jakob (6.5 points) And that's that. Have at the discussion, I'll update this if need be (And I probably will need to because I've likely messed up the tier-ing something fierce)
  2. http://www.siliconera.com/2017/04/11/warriors-stars-headed-north-america-august-29-europe-september-1-ps4-pc/ PS4 & PC owners can rejoice if they've been waiting for this game which combined various Koei-Tecmo properties for a Musou like romp. 3. As the warriors dude of Serenes, I felt I needed to expand even more on my knowledge, so I picked up DQH, I am decently familiar with the DQ series, i've played 1, 5, 6 and 8, along with knowing some stuff with 3. I think this game does a good job merging a DQ feel with the Warriors formula, you take a party of 4 into combat, you can switch between em, they have skill trees and points, a very old school equipment system, etc. The CPU Ai for the people you aren't controlling is surprisingly decent for Warriors fare too, especially in Boss fights. I'm not that far in yet, but i'm enjoying this because it feels fresh for a Warriors game in a way, focusing on the small group instead of alot of armies, its just you vs Monsters with some NPCs, and you can get Monster Coins to summon monsters to help, and they actually do help. So its nice. The smaller arenas remind me of Dynasty Warriors 3 maps somewhat. Anyone else have exp with this game and want to chat about it?
  4. What I'm gonna do to Awakening/Fates characters if the BK is added in....
  5. Since FE Warriors was announced, I've seen a fair bit of confusion and misinformation in terms of what to expect, this will not be a speculation thread. This is more a thread for those of you unfamiliar with the Warriors games, to ask questions for me or other experienced Warriors players, such as @Tryhard or @Soledai to answer. Don't be afraid to ask something you might consider dumb or obvious, most of the time there isn't a stupid question. I'll also try my best to answer in depth if the question in particular requires it. So with that, have at it.
  6. Wade Lott Bartre (FE6) Dorcas Bartre (FE7) Geitz Garcia Ross (Reclassed to fighter) Boyd (FE9) Nolan Boyd (FE10) Barst (FE11) Bord (FE11) Cord (FE11) Ymir (FE11) Kris (If his class is Fighter) Cord (FE12) Bord (FE12) Dice Jake Ymir (FE12) Robin (Reclassed to Fighter) Vaike Basilio And anyone else in Awakening that can somehow reclass to fighter
  7. Ok, before I say anything...this could possibly just be nothing or a coincidence, but I felt like this was something interesting to bring to others attention. (Would've done this much earlier, but you know...site update and all that...) Anywho, I was checking my Twitter feed the other day and came across a post that I found VERY interesting: (Sorry if the picture quality isn't too good. Hopefully you can still see it well enough. If not...Google Images might get you a better photo to compare...) I know the FE Direct is just tomorrow, but I wanted to see what others thought of it(and pray to God that that was intentionally put in there as one of those "hard to see" hints)!
  8. Topic is old now, so this. So, Skull Kid is a playable character now, and Phantom Ganon is a boss character. I hope they have a really good moveset for Skull Kid that isn't just "drop the moon" on everyone. =\ There's more than enough of that already.
  9. So, anyone else see this in today's Nintendo Direct? At first glance, I thought it was an MMO with how things looked, but I'm not entirely sure that'll be the case. Either way, I thought it looked FUN. I mean, Link really stepped it up and took a level of badass here. Chucking bombs like crazy, crashing through a veritable army? I mean, seriously, that looks awesome!
