This will be my first playthrough, and I'm just looking to complete the game - nothing fancy with rankings or insane challenges or such. It's been a couple of years since I last played the game, and I need help deciding which characters I should use in my main team. I've found the H5 Tier List by RodyKitty (http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=11699&hl=tier&st=3220), but I'm having real trouble sorting out troll/joke posts from actual ones; that, and the fact that the M&M tier is new to me - is that the best tier or the worst? Bluedoom Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 But dont use Sedgar and Wolf together. Their exp gain is bad and they wont really be able to match up if you try to use both. Although I dont really like them. It takes lots of effort to actually get them that exp and they get good only after like 4-5 lvl ups. >.< Use Cord. He's pretty good too. Draug's a pretty good unit too with decent growths and bases to work on. Just remember he CANT TAKE HITS. He will usually always double stuff. Integrity Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 If you're really looking for help: You'll NEED to use Jagen early on. Need to. Cain and Abel are solid fillers. Caeda is excellent forever. Barst is an absolute winner. Use Barst. Use ONE OF Sedgar or Wolf. Doesn't really matter what class (I prefer Warriors). Most everybody else either shows up already good or cannot readily be made good, so use them for a chapter then either shelve them or continue to use them. That tier list looks way outdated, what with Caeda in Low -_- Generally when playing you want Counter attacks to be a minimum, either through OHKOing (Wing Spear does that- Hence Caeda should not be Low) or through effective weapons. 13th Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Use Jeigan in earlygame Only use one of Wolf or Sedgar. I prefer Wolf to Sedgar, but mostly because he's cooler looking. Abel and Cain make excellent fillers Hardin and Wendell are decent, especially when Wendell has Excalibur. Caeda. Wing Spear. Use it. Barst and Ogma. Use them. And since I'm assuming the first poster is not planning on warpskipping half the game, it's probably a decent one for him to look at.
