[spoiler=Prologue 1] The title screen! Looks nice, I guess. Like the terrible player I am, I'm playing on normal mode. Shoot me. Then, this intro appeared on the screen. [spoiler=Introduction]"Long ago, Medeus, king of the dragonkin, conquered the continent of Akaneia, beginning an age of fear and despair for all its people. That tyranny was broken, however, when an unlikely hero intervened. A young man hailing from the Altea region appeared with a divine blade in hand. He stood against the Shadow Dragon, and struck him down. For some time after, the land enjoyed an age of peace. However, after a century's passing, the Shadow Dragon returned. He forged an alliance with a fiendish sorcerer who sought to rule the world, and their combined might toppled kingdom upon unsuspecting kingdom.Again, darkness threatened to engulf the continent. It fell upon the king of Altea, sole descendant of the dragon-slayer hero, to 'sally forth with the divine blade and fulfill his blood destiny. His son, Prince Marth, remained at home with the boy's mother, his elder sister, and a garrison manned by Altea's neighbor and ally, Gra'. Thus the boy applied himself to the ways of both pen and sword, until one day..." Why did they name that place Gra...? I mean... Gra. Why not something cool, like Wizard, or Australia? Moving on... Young Marth! So... Apparently, we have to go to the throne. Here is Marth, our lovable, blue-haired lord. For some reason, his defense is okay, but his skill is kind of bad. I'm going to guess his growths are going to change this. A wild generic appeared! He brought his axe-wielding buddies to help! CIRCLE SLASH After killing those guys with ease, Marth leveled up. It's what you've all been waiting for... I hate Fire Emblem Moving on... I feel really threatened by this guy. Yup. I'm shaking. Yep, I'm fine, dearest sister...! How are you on this fine day? Gra? Is that some kind of pasta...? We've lost mummy?! Oh noez! I could've produced some inappropriate innuendo with her around... He was defeated by the pasta people?! Are you sure?! 'K, sis. ...'K, sis. 'K, SIS. JEEZ, YOU'RE SO WEIRD And thus our hero, Prince Marth, fled the throne-room. What will happen next? Find out in the next part of Shadow Dragon with Wizard! Refa Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 (edited) Actually, Marth's Rapier is the worst in this game. Maybe you're thinking about Roy? Well, I guess FE12 Marth barely uses his Rapier... EDIT You don't need to save it, you can buy more of them along the way and you won't be using them nearly as fast. What will happen next? Find out now! [spoiler=Prologue 2] Bro Frey! Will you be accompanying me? Ugh, ABEL. Bro Frey can manage by himself. Gotcha, Bro Frey. You know what time it is... UNIT ANALYSIS TIME! In today's episode, we will be looking at Frey and Abel, two cavaliers. Frey is quite balanced, I'd say. Compared to the other two Cavaliers, he has a better speed growth but a lower strength growth. I think he's pretty bro. I'll won't be using him as a decoy. His bases aren't too bad either. I'll probably be using him as a Dracoknight, which I'm guessing is another name for a wyvern knight. Abel is also decent, by the looks of things. However, I probably won't be using him. He just bugs me, with his weird green hair. That concludes the UNIT ANALYSIS TIME! Grabbing Bro Frey's first kill. Great job, Bro Frey. I got Bro Frey the kill once again. GO CIRCLE SLASH...! Bro Frey's first level. Okay, I guess. After clearing up the trash, I let Marth kill the pasta soldier boss. He then got a decent level. Not bad at all, I'd say. Ah, Sir Jagen! Great to see you, old chap! Cain, our next cavalier. Eh. We're over here. JagenxCain OTP You heard it here Anyway, after that we were given this scene. Shortened to include my responses as Marth's smoking hot sister. No, I like it here. My husband Frey is here, too. NO I LIKE IT HERE GO AWAY Then he ran away, crying about the king not being alive or some shizzle-wizzle. At least, that's what I got out of that scene. What will happen next to Marth and Bro Frey? bottlegnomes Posted December 31, 2013 Share Posted December 31, 2013 To be fair, Frey's averages are: Lv 10 HP 25 Str 10 Mag 0 Skl 11 Spd 11 Luck 6 Def 9 Res 0 Horace's Able was a little below average, but you have to remember that growths are comparatively low in SD. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Windows will restart in 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1. Windows has restarted. It's okay, Cain. Jagen will comfort you. Anyway... Time for Unit Analysis Time with Wizard! Firstly, Cain. He has better strength and possibly defense than Abel. I'll be using Abel and Frey for my cavalier needs, so he won't be used. Next, we have Jagen. He's well-known for being one of the best characters in the series. 10/10. That concludes Unit Analysis Time with Wizard. Stay tuned, and remember: not everything I say is true. It annoys me that everyone and their mother in this game has 0 resistance. Greatly. Marth uses Circle Slash. It was super effective. After that, the old guy appeared. 'Kay. Sounds like fun. Angsty Marth? Well, anyway... It's time for Prologue 4! [spoiler=Prologue 4] Pretty sure we only have Cavalier units in this army so far. No. No I'm not. Didn't you hear me, scumbag? Anyway, here are the starting positions. I accidentally moved Cain. It's not like I use him or anything. TAKE THAT! CIRCLE SLASH! ...That never gets old. He got defense AND resistance? Jeez. I thought every Shadow Dragon unit had like a 0% resistance growth or something... Bro Frey also decided to be helpful. What a great guy! This guy in a nutshell. He has a funny face, don't you think? Who is this scrub? Oh wait, he's an archer. They're all like that. Teehee Just look at those stats! I'll have to kill him off to balance the game out. I'm sorry, Dusk. I totally don't have an ulterior motive. I'm sure Marth would say that. I'm suuuuuuuuuuuuuure he would. Gaggles! The great and mighty Gaggles, everyone's favorite- It's time for Unit Analysis Time with Wizard! In today's episode, we have Gordin/Gaggles! Say hello, Gaggles! Grrrrmph! ISN'T HE ADORABLE? Now for his growths and bases~! Hit Points 60% Strength 30% Magic 0% Skill 40% Speed 35% Luck 40% Defense 30% Resistance 0% Level 1 HP 18 Strength 5 Magic 0 Skill 3 Speed 4 Luck 4 Defense 6 Resistance 0 Note: The growths may be wrong. As you can see, Gordin has lower stats than all of our other characters at base. He's locked to 2 range, possibly 2-3 range? I'm not sure about archers in this game... Anyway, he has mediocre stats and growths, as well as a mediocre class... Mmph! SHUT THE HELL UP, GORDIN NOBODY LIKES YOU Anyway... He's kind of crappy. That is all. OH GOD DUDE, WTF THUS ENDED THE EPIC SAGA OF JAGEN HIS POOR LOVER CAIN WAS FOREVER LEFT ALONE IN THIS WORLD Ahem. Anyway... Gordin's final stand! [spoiler=ultimet deth moosic] I had NO ulterior motive. I didn't want to go to any gaiden chapters. Also... THAT WAS MY FRIEND YOU JUST KILLED! YOU BASTAAAAAAAAAARD! I don't even no what I'm quoting anymore; I'll be honest. Some level-ups. Abel was kind of scrubby, but mostly similar to Frey. After killing off the weird-looking guy, the chapter ended!
