Fun fact: Aside from the one Speedwings I used on Astore in order to pilfer the Delphi Shield, I have not used a single stat-boosting item yet. Perhaps I should start considering that. This means I have:

• 2 Secret Books;
• 2 Goddess Icons;
• An Angelic Robe;
• A Dragonshield;
• 2 Energy Rings;
• A Talisman;
• A pair of Boots;
• A Body Ring

I actually don't know who to use what on (I'm always like this, unfortunately). So I guess I'll leave that up to you all! These are the stats of the units I use:

This is not an accurate portrayal of the events that occurred

So I decided to (lazily) rewrite history

In hindsight, I should've edited a bow in. Oh well

B is for bitch, we did it!

Roy was a pretty good unit, not going to lie. He was admittedly average, but he just... I don't know, he just worked. He would have been truly fantastic if he promoted a bit earlier. But hey, the kid did good. Eliwood would be proud

Allen definitely was my best unit once he promoted; amazing Strength, Speed, and Defence, with the movement and versatility to make the most out of it. A one-man army, for sure. He did eventually fall to Lugh and, eventually, Rutger and Deke, but his wide movement options, coupled with his physical bulk, made him truly invaluable

Wolt did the two main jobs Archers should do: weaken enemies and deal with fliers. Unfortunately, due to never gaining Strength 'til around, like, level 14, or something, Wolt was the first unit I considered benching. But my bow bias shone through, and I stubbornly carried on using him. I'm glad I did. I knew he was destined for great things. Eventually, anyway.

Where do I begin with Lugh? Being the sole magic user until Raigh (I think), Lugh was pretty much forced to the battlefield--and I'm glad he was. His amazing offensive stats turned this 13-year-old into debatably my best unit in the entire run. I really don't know what else to say about him, really. He just scorched everything he touched

Saul was a unit I immediately embraced the moment I saw him; a male healer was something I desperately needed when chapter 6 started. Being my only healer until Lugh promoted, Saul was one of my most critical units throughout the entire run. When Lugh did finally come to wield staves, Saul's higher staff rank allowed him many more options when it came to benefiting my units. The man's got skillful hands. Shame he could never woo a woman with his talents

Lance, the other unit I considered putting to the side, had a similar problem to Wolt: he never gained Strength. He did eventually come around, and thankfully a lot sooner than Wolt did. Unlike Allen, Lance had the amazing ability to reliably hit all of his opponents no matter the equipped weapon, and, later on, managed to score some well-needed criticals in the run. Lance, to me, felt like the glue in the team; not very practical on his own, but invaluable when with others

Any sane person would have benched Bors really quickly. But there's two things you need to know about me and Knights:-

1. I love them
2. I want one to eventually surpass my Gilliam from my FE8 run one day

Unfortunately, Bors never did that. However, if he managed to get to level 20, I think he might have been close. In the meantime, Bors will just stick to lagging behind everyone, catching up to them when the skirmish is finished, picking off a single soul, if lucky

Zeiss, Zeiss, Zeiss... Us two share a love-hate relationship. His uncooperative growths when I first got him made me want to cry. Being a flier, though, gave him a niche no one else in my army had. So I reluctantly used him. Again and again and again. Then he promoted. And then he became an unadulterated monster. He essentially turned into Allen, but swap their Speed and Skill stats around. We all know how amazing Allen was. Zeiss... I'm buying you a beer, lad. And then punching you in the face

Ogier's that kid in school who you met day one, were decent friends with throughout your school life, perhaps helped you out with your homework once or twice, but when you leave, you wonder to yourself, "just what did that kid do? Why, after all these years, is he still such an enigma?" ... No? Was that just me? Ah, oh well. Ogier didn't do anything special, really. He was just... there. Stuck his neck out a couple of times, but is still with us today. Good going, kid. Shame no one remembers you

Rutger was nuts. The crits, the flashy lights, the art of multiplying yourself for a full-on assault, Rutger did it all. And he did it with intent and style. If Rutger was there, you never hit him, and you would die. With sword slashes everywhere. Oh yeah, he crits a lot, too

Deke, also exclusively referred to as (Ryan) Peake, was one of my best units from the get-to. Like Allen and Rutger, he was one of those "if you go there, every living thing around you that isn't affiliated with you will die" units. I don't know what else to say, really

Klain definitely stared Death in the eye peerlessly. Or so he thought. He was all right, I guess

I legitimately forgot who Noah was. Took me about 10 seconds to remember who he was. His death made Sorin happy
