I forgot to mention before, but we also have the Freeden back. Naturally, the Ra Cairam replaced the Argama gameplay-wise, and likewise it seems in-story too, as it's not stated we got it back as well. Anyway, so, the mission from the guys of the other route split, if you remember, was to head to the Innocent's stronghold of X-Point, and rescue Elche. Well, the detour to the Lost Mountains meant not arriving yet to X-Point, but Elche was rescued. However, she's still brainwashed. Or more exactly, her personality has been suppressed and replaced with that of someone else's. Seemingly nothing can be done about it... or does it? As it turns out, perhaps if a mind connection can be made using the Psycommu... though it's branded as dangerous. Just then, Arthur asks if he could do it. Despite the risks, he feels responsible that Elche is in her current state. He's dying anyway (Innocent can't live for long outside their domes, after all), so if he can undo just one thing Kashim has done... In any case, the idea goes through. Elsewhere, Gwen has asked Sid for the data of the mechas. Gwen has a personal agenda, and he would also like to include Loran and the Turn A in it. And as it so happens, Loran happens to overhear. Gwen tries to convince him to join him, but fails (well, to start with, it certainly doesn't help he keeps calling him Laura). Likewise, Loran fails to convince him to back down, to not repeat the Black History. But before much else happens, Gwen flees. And sometime later, the Millitia groups also go their separate way from us. Hmm... Just then, the heroes detect something ahead. It's none other than the Soleil/DianaCounter, under attack by Breakers. Diana says they should help them out; as ultimately, they're not bad people, and she had not been exactly a good leader, so she has some responbility on their actions. Ultimately, Bright orders to sortie. As it was, the Breakers are still trying to obtain some money with the bounty the Soleil still has. They're the usual peanut gallery, we've fought them countless times by now. Meanwhile, the Soleil only has about three SUMOs as escorts. Poe and Milan don't have much high hopes, though Phil disagrees. In any case, all three are shocked to see the heroes coming to their aid. The Ra Cairam can't be allowed to get hit (as they're in the process of curing Elche) or else Game Over (it can be attacked. or even attack, just fine; as long as it doesn't receive any damage). Fortunately, I can deploy another battleship. Starting enemy count is compoed of Gravagoses and Drans, and landships in the form of Gibros. Then there's Gretta (Dran), Calloon (Dran), and Hola and Geraba (Empera Kai). Well, the map itself is mountanious, but since most units here fly, that's a bummer. Oh well... THere's laso a few caves, but these aren't Mountain Cycles that give units. Just equipment parts. Okay, the Drans seem to be going a straight line. As usual, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't attack on enemy phase, so things aren't easier for me. Gretta seems to be leading this charge... and I forgot if she had it before but here has the Guts skill. Ugh... Okay, Gretta defeated. Eh, she'll be back in another stage. They mostly all do when it comes to the Xabungle enemies. Ooh, nice, one of the caves had a Haro.
