Our last unit. Honestly, not bad.

The bossman. Same stats as when he was in Chapter 8.

Also, there's a bunch of these assholes near the entrance hallway. We have ways to fight them, though.

There's a random Earth Dragon just chilling in the castle. He has the same stats as Medeus from Book 1.

We'll be giving him a wide berth.

These guys might actually be kind of a threat.

Nothing really interesting in the opening. Basically, shit's getting real now.

YAY, A MAP THAT IS ACTUALLY NEW!

Thieves can randomly spawn from that cave to the north, so we need to be quick if we want to get to the village without warp. Wyverns can also sometimes spawn on the southern mountain, but luckily that didn't happen. Random reinforcements FTW?

Our "boss." He's actually less powerful than the Doulam dark mage from last chapter.

The enemies in the chapter are even less impressive. The barbarians are all wielding Devil Axes, which means they hit hard but have no AS at all. The Meteor guys are weaker than the ones in the last chapter, so they're much less of a pain.

Let's get this done.

Sheema continues to be awesome.

Let's see what the locals have to say.

All these hicks think they can tell Aritian Man what to do.

Everyone moves north. We manage to bait one of the wyverns on the central mountain.

The three on the southern mountain all gang up on Marth. He only dodges one of them, which just barely leaves him alive.

The lower stats of the Dark Mages in this chapter means Meteor is less likely to hit than last chapter, which is nice.

Chiki pretty much destroys all the Wyvens in this chapter.

Catria flies a head, taking out the meteor bishop on foot.

Minerva takes out the Barbarian the same way. The barbarians are weak to the lady sword, so getting that second one last chapter was quite a boon.

The last Wyvern on the central mountain gets baited, and Aritian Man gets the kill.

Sheema makes it to the cave to kill any thieves that spawn. Fortunately for us, none of them spawned.

The end. It's been a ride, certainly. Overall, I think I had more fun with the Book 1 run than I did with Book 2, but it was still fun. Though it was nice not waiting so long to promote.

His bases were a little higher than in book 1, so that was good. However, he didn't cap Strength on his own like in book 1, and I feel like he got overshadowed more. Probably because there were more units that joined earlier. Still, he was useful.




Thanks to her join time, she wasn't the MVP she was in Book 1. If not for the restriction, I think she'd probably tend to get overshadowed by Palla or Catria. Still, she was quite useful. And Star shard made sure her strength wasn't a huge problem.



Somewhat like Shiida in Book 1, but a bit slower and not able to fly. Still, she was quite useful in the early chapters, but I feel like she got overshadowed as soon as flying people started to show up.

I benched her for Midia near the end, but TBH I probably should have kept her. But w/e.



She was kinda mediocre at first. Starting halfway through she remembered she had growths, and she turned around somewhat.



Catria was the motherfucking boss. Everyone knows this, and there is no need for me to comment any further. If only I wasn't an idiot and had let her cap strength unmounted, she would have been perfect.



Earlygame mage! Very useful. Got a surprising amount of Strength, too.

Also, 10 Res wtf.



Palla is a perfect unit and there is absolutely nothing wrong with her and she was the clear MVP

She was pretty great. Definitely on par with her sister. Her base speed and the low stats of the enemies helper her to be able to keep up. And then there were the Star Shards, of course.



WHAT HAPPENED

You started out great, but then became Maria 2.0.

I guess Malicia stole all the good from you. : [



Not much to say. She was a dancer, with surprisingly good offensive stats to boot!



Fucking amazing

Her Strength and durability were a it of an issue, and I feel like she was better in book 1, but hey, Minerva's still awesome.

She also gave support boosts to Catria and Palla, which was quite useful. More so than in Book 1 because of their join times.



Like in Book 1, she couldn't double shit, but her defensive stats were so good it didn't matter much. Having a variety of dragon stones was useful too. Indoor flying unit with 12 mov ftw.



Est was Est. Refer to my comments in Book 1. She didn't get Gradivus quite as quickly, but still.



Without all the staboosters I gave her, she wouldn't have been nearly as useful. Still, I DID give them to her, and she was great.



Probably should have benched her after F-1. But I didn't. :/

Even with statboosters she didn't contribute much in the endgame. But I feel like that would have been true of whoever I brought. Still, she's better than the other lategame paladins here.



Orphans who had lost their parents, huh. As opposed to the ones who hadn't?



Do these girls really count as units? I didn’t really use them at all, so there's not much to say. except that Maria still sucks.

Anyway, it's been fun. Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading this. Dunno if I'll ever do one of these again, but maybe.
