Ike's speed problems are now temporarily fixed. Hate to waste the bexp, but I just don't trust him enough to level up naturally anymore.

This well end up being used at some point. Worth the money.

Ike heads here because at this point I'm more concerned about getting their support up than getting them exp.

But then I realise there's a Javelin guy in front of Soren, so he moves back a little.

I was practically praying for an Adept proc here, Soren wouldn't double him and the swordmaster had a decent hit rate.

Haar burns some more supplies.

And Soren gets another amazing level!

Ike needed to kill this soldier so that Soren could go on ahead. Ike will be staying in the bottom half for this, getting the horses pen, the tent and the supplies. (sidenote: my browser crashed here and i am so thankful everything from this post saved)

Soren goes completely overkill on this soldier.

Soren kills this Senator for the White Gem he drops. It sacrifices bexp, but it's worth it.

Soren and Ike free the horses. This doesn't really do much except give you some extra bexp, but I do it anyway.

And Soren, for his final trick, becomes a mushroom!

While Ike struggles against generic soldiers.

It's sad that this chapter and 4-5 are the only two appearances of dark magic aside from second playthrough stuff.

Soren has to save Haar from this dude because I accidentally left him in range of it.

The last horse escapes.

It's not very visible, but there's a Thunder Sage to the very right of the screen who's been staring at the same spot this whole map.

Soren clears the way to our last supplies.

And gains Strength for some reason.

I might end up using this, I don't know. But I know there's a spot later on where I'll be farming Soren's staff rank up to A.

Idk about uploading of dolphin screenshots.

However I think they have more storage than screenshots from other emulators. (can only guess)

Uploading screenshots from my SNES and GBA emulator goes very fast:

I can upload images within seconds with the use of a hotkey and it will also (If set up correctly) paste the screenshots into a specific folder on my PC which helps keep things nice and tidy, see below.

It's a pretty decent piece of software and fairly lightweight, however I've never tried Imgur so can't really compare; failing Puush I know that Greenshot is also a useful screenshotting tool as well. Nice run by the way.

Also, for your most recent update, half of the images are broken. Imgur might be so slow because you're uploading massive images. Have you tried resizing them down a bit before uploading them?

Huh? They work for me. It might just be your internet. I haven't tried resizing yet because I don't know a way to mass-resize, but now that I think about it the time it saves uploading is probably worth it in the long run.

I recall there being bexp for them escaping in runs where I've had access to the bexp screen, so I'm not really sure.

The results of the first poll are now set in stone: the winners are Lyre and Ranulf! The Janaff vs Ulki poll will stay until I hit 3-7. Ulki is currently in the lead for that, but it might change. I take everything off of Lethe and Kyza because I won't be using them.

Lyre gets the Dracoshield.

Lyre gets bexped to Ranulf's level and gains a tiny bit of Strength in the process. Given her Strength though, she's guaranteed any future Energy Drops not going to Volug.

These are Mordecai's stats, last shown after his massive BEXP dump in 2-E.

And these are Ranulf's, currently better than Lyre in almost every way. .-.

Lyre takes Blossom since she desperately needs it.

Ranulf takes Pass for no real reason.

And Mordecai takes Adept to patch up his horrible Speed.

I also sell the White Gem from last chapter and the Blue Gem from this one.

And on to the chapter! Ranulf starts with a full gauge here automatically so he goes ahead and kills this Warrior.

By showing his butt to it.

Lyre heads next to Ranulf and Grasses up. It may seem unsafe but the Warrior doesn't double her and he 3RKOs her.

Mordecai (also untransformed), Ike and Soren head over here. Mordecai is pretty much perfectly safe against non-mages untransformed thanks to his amazing health and defense.

Lyre's first action in this playthrough. I'm not having high hopes.

Turn 2 formation. Lyre stays where she is for exp and strike grinding, while everyone else heads forward.

Soren takes a kill I didn't want him to but whatever.

Mordecai's Strength is just good enough here to OHKO this Mage. <333

Thanks to the allied cat, Lyre is able to get her first kill on this Warrior. With many more to come!

It doesn't help here specifically, but Mordecai's Adept really helps his doubling issue.

I love how all the Begnion soldiers are just watching this happen. I can just imagine Levail holding up a "GO ZELGIUS" banner or something while the rest of the soldiers are chanting "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT".

Went for an inbetween of the first and second here. Short and kinda boring chapter due to the lack of laguz, but Soren gains some levels I guess.

I was wondering in between updates how Skrimir lost to Zelgius, and then checked their base stats and found that Zelgius actually doubles base Skrimir. Huh.

Ranulf continuing to be the only laguz around here with a brain.

You know, I've always wondered why the developers even bothered to give that guy a beard instead of giving him the generic enemy soldier sprite. Should I be expecting a spinoff starring that random bearded soldier coming soon, with his companions 3-13 Archer and 3-9 Bishop?

I don't know what playthrough you're watching Ike, but the only action Haar has and will recieve throughout this playthrough is his job in 3-3.

Haar's priorities > everyone else's priorities.

The last time Jill and Haar were seen together was like in Chapter 12 of PoR iirc. Is Ike's memory really that good?

Considering Haar's primary job is air delivery, I have no idea where he found this Corrosion skill tome. Was a bird carrying it or something?

Here is Reyson. He's generally considered the best out of the three herons, due to his high level, and the ability to dance 4 people and Cant away when transformed, but I've always preferred Rafiel as I tend to forget herons exist until it's 4-E-5 and I have 30,000 spare bexp with noone else to give it to.

I'll probably end up needing this at one point, if not just for bexp abusing.

Yeh, case in point we have no non-Reyson laguz this chapter. By the way, for people who may not remember, the exp for Neph, Brom and Heather is purely from 2-1. Also, as I was typing this I realised this chapter was one of the best opportunities for Venin Edge shenanigans and I completely forgot about it. Woops.

Ike takes the Ettard that Soren acquired last chapter. The Coin will probably never be used and will be left to stay in the convoy.

Right off the bat Soren kills someone and gets a pretty cool level. I'm aiming for him to cap everything, and according to the main site that is still possible.

Ike will be staying in the corner(?) of shame, due to there being nothing to do with him from now until 4-1.

This chapter will primarily consist of Soren completely destroying everything. So, nothing different from usual.

Would have liked to move further this turn, but the way the enemies are setup prevents me from doing so.

I wouldn't exactly call it "betrayal" seeing as we've been fighting Begnion for 6 chapters in a row now, but ok. Unless you're referring to FE9 in which case yeh, I guess.

Not that Soren is being hit anyway, but for when he does he can easily recover the damage thanks to Flare. It's pretty nifty.

As a sidenote, I'll be training up Soren's Thunder rank this chapter. I'll only really ever end up using it in 4-E-3, but I might as well.

I just take moment here to move Elthunder up, since Soren is running out of Thunder uses.

Well, I haven't really been using any tactics either. I've just been putting Soren in the range of a load of enemies and having him kill them all without taking any damage, FE13 style.

Not even sure if that will be possible. D= Also I doubt Volug can even hurt Mordecai, he gained no Strength in the rerun.

It should be. I don't remember what your Volug's stats are, but if he's doing okay, he should be able to clear his way to them between resolve, grass, and healing items.

As for Soren, I'd suggest bexp ramming him from here since his total grows are below 300 now. I'd also advise against it at all for Lyre until she caps something since she has over 300 total growths naturally.

Anyway, I concur with the new image size. This took like a sixth, I think literally, of the time to load from the last page.

Volug's base strength is 11 (=22) + strike level A 9 might = 31 attack

Mordecai's defense is 16 (=32)

=> no damage

He needs an upgeade in his strike level or at least one strength point.
