  1. 1. If you plan to buy the English version of Fire Emblem Fates, how spoiled/unspoiled are you in regards to the story?

I know quite a bit, especially some heavy spoilery stuff on the Conquest and Birthright side since I work on the FE wiki. As for the Revelations side, I really don't know much because I've made an effort to avoid it as much as possible. Other than that, I don't know the full story and the events that transpire in all three routes, so mostly unspoiled, but still heavily spoiled for the first two routes.

Im pretty spoiled. Im really freaking glad too, cuz i think id be a salty sam if i went in totally blind. Given my expectations of A Song Of Ice And Fire Emblem, im very very glad i spoiled myself.

I've actually been able to remain mostly unspoiled, which I unfortunately wasn't able to do for Awakening. I only mistakenly found a few plot details that I wish I hadn't known about. >.>

Otherwise though, I've done good on not getting spoiled.

I was one time watching some Online matches for Fates to see how it was then I watched some Monster Hunter X videos and by chance I saw a thumbnail that had the biggest revelation, I was so pissed for a week lol.(still kinda hurts)

Massive spoiler below

The thumbnail had Gunter (the old guy with the lance) sitting down with a massive smirk and I knew at that moment he was the main villain. By the way, can anyone tell me since I know who the main villain is, does this spoil all of the three routes? I don't know any history or information so please don't spoil anymore for me lol. (I hope there is more of a story other than just him being the villain)

Ehhh, pretty spoiled.

I know a lot of major plot points (not an any sort of extensive detail, but like, the general idea of a lot of them) in Birthright and Conquest, and I'm pretty sure I know generally most of the reasons "Revelations" got its English namesake.

I mean, I don't care about spoilers that much, usually. I know this is pretty weird, but I kinda like being spoiled since it actually gets me more excited for the given thing... Sorta like seeing a bunch of photos of a place you're going on vacation to, and maybe reading some reviews of restaurants and attractions and stuff there. It also lets me know how to avoid things like preventable storyline character deaths and etc...

[spoiler=Mild Fates Spoilers](Which turned out to actually be a valid concern with this game!)

...since I'm a perfectionist who can't stand to miss sidequests (at least, most of them) or allow preventable character deaths to occur, even if it's my first time playing a given game.
