1 is not an imaginary number.

I did not know 0 is both real and imaginary, but it does make sense since it is on both axes.

It probably depends on definition, but I lean towards 0 being both imaginary and real.

0i and 0 are the same number. 0 is both real and imaginary. It would kind of weird to have 0 integer missing on the imaginary number line when you go straight from -i to i.
