eclipse Posted September 1, 2021 Share Posted September 1, 2021 After the ending of PxZ 2, I suspect that Spoiler we'll have a new set of protagonists. With Saya dead and Reiji/Xiaomu married, I wouldn't mind if someone else took the spotlight. After all, Saya's organization isn't going to disappear just because she bit the dust! Maybe bring back that duo from the first PxZ. Not overly picky about who gets in, but if Fire Emblem characters appear again, I hope they have some sort of personality. From a gameplay PoV, it didn't pan out. They were supposed to focus on crits, but crits don't matter if your damage is low to begin with. On the subject of more Nintendo... if it's more FE in itself then Marth as a Solo unit at least. If as a Duo Unit, then with Roy (for the memes), Caeda (standard battle couple trope), or heck, maybe Merric for a change (bro'ing it up into the multiverse). Dragon Quest is less serious, throwing in a modern duo of say Veronica + Serena and solo Sylvando, or whatever older characters they were in the mood for (Alena + Kiryl?) wouldn't be infeasible. Given the lighthearted tone of these crossover games, DQ would fit in fine.
