@Mitsuki: No, I don't think he's scum? Or at least nothing has popped up yet for me to think so. (I agree with his reads to boot and the points are the same)

Guess is one of Wen/Pally is scum

Yeah I'm going off now before I get addicted to playing and losing my sleep

Whoo~ just got home from swim class, and apparently random vig shot (or whatever happened) landed on scum. Nice one!

Gonna take some time to catch up on the thread.

##Vote: Coco

She keeps justifying every action she does, telling that it's not relevant, etc. I can see townies saying their actions are bad to an extent, but she worries too much for it to be something coming from town, and it's even worse because it's very early in the game. Is she always like that?

This particular post is the worst among them. Her wording regarding Euklyd could be seen like real conviction but inmediately after that she says her reasoning is not good. Why would she choose that wording, then? It seems like scum being unsure of whether voting a townie with certain reasoning could be seen as scummy or not, but wanting to be seen as active and thinking.

For me, it's less of a case of "yeah, I know her meta" and more of a case of "she's a new player, so I'm not too fussed" which is why I didn't push her.

Also, SB's refusal is kinda suspicious to me. Like I said, if we truly have nothing to worry from him, revealing it would just mean that neither town nor maf has a reason to bother him.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me. Look at it this way, he could've just chosen not to mention anything about him being third party at all. By doing so, he opens himself up to more suspicion than if he did not. So I'm not bothered if he doesn't want to reveal his wincon. So stop talking about it, my role's way cooler anyways.

I'm all for big plays as scum and everything, but getting myself lynched day 1 isn't what I'd call a big play.

It worked so well in Fakeclaim!

Players present at the time of the votals:

SB

Kopfjager

Green Poet

Sky Paladin

Frosty Fire Mage

Junko Enoshima

Any others?

Green Poet's reaction to the votals was a townslip, imo.

I'd suspect Sky Paladin. It would explain why he wasn't bothered by it.

Call me lazy scum for it, but I'm not really bothered by most of the active people. Well, actually I am, but I don't think they're scummy for it. Like Kopf and Junko really spent way too much time talking about SB's role, but I didn't get any scum intent from them doing so. I don't like how Sky Paladin is STILL focusing on SB because it's dumb because SB is an ITP and even if he theoretically was like the SK it'd be better to focus on lynching Mafia for this day really. But at the same time I'm going to have to agree with BBM on that one, not seeing why he'd do that as mafia when literally noone else agrees with him. Pretty happy with my forcefully changed vote for now, Breezy's been really unmemorable and I don't think he's done much of anything? Yeah yeah, I know, vig the scummy inactives right? Which I'd be all about if there was someone who I think is actively being scummy.

Also that Junpei guy should definitely target me. He's my favorite townie!

Still most of us were quite confused and immediately unvoted. Most of us did not even vote back from what I remember. It might have given them away if they just stood there but than they could have immediately voted again. Also why would they choose Breezy. SB is clearly not scum because why would they kill one of their own. I also think we should dismiss Breezy has he probably is not scum either.

Clearly he's getting next leveled bussed DUH.

(not actually serious)

I don't really get what you're trying to say/achieve here for the most part, I haven't checked the unvotes and scum could have unvoted anyways after seeing people do so as well.

Also it might not be scum's choice to determine who gets wagoned/which votes are moved after using their ability.

I don't like this post, it seems like an overreaction but I can't point out why.

It does bother me that she thinks the voteswitcher is obviously scum when there's no proof that that's the case (and really, why would lynching claimed ITP be one of scum's main priorities on D1 when the only benefit I can see is WIFOM). Or the voteswitcher could just not be able to control it, I guess, but that seems a little too random?

It is suspicous that though that someone wanted SB lynched. Also can you please call me he now. That is my real gender, sorry about switching it. Was for roleplaying purposes.

every mislynch is good for scum, it doesn't matter who it is 9 times out of 10

and it's almost definitely scum since it hasn't claimed.

Wouldn't that mean a guaranteed death sentence though?

I also think there are multiple third parties here. It is clear that FFM is unhappy about being killed. I think the mafia are going to either kill the vote switcher or kill the the killer of FFM. Also Sky Paladin is being overly aggressive on wanting SB lynched.

Fair enough. On the offchance that the voteswitcher is town, they should 1) claim and 2) explain their reasoning behind the voteswitch *coughskypaladincough*.

refa is sky paladin your scumbuddy

No, he's too active. I prefer to be scumbuddies with people who have so little activity that I'm automatically declared the scum MVP at the end no matter how incompetent I actually played.

One thing I noticed about the random vote switching thing that happened was that the first time it happened Terra had a vote, then the next time he didn't. And it's obviously weird because he wasn't on since he joined. And even though I (albeit for a short time) was on and had the possibility to vote for someone, I was not involved in the random-nees.

Could it be possible that the "random" isn't so random since Terradork wasn't on, if he didn't show up at all, his vote would be a free vote on whomever it was on.

Just a theory though.

This post bothers me somewhat. How would scum know who the vig is? How does FFM's death indicate that there's more than one third party, rather than simply a vig?

And I think it's fairly certain that the votal switcher is scum, given how many times it's been stated that they need to claim now or be seen as scum later on.

When was it suggested that this vote influencing ability was random, though? The influenced votes on SB didn't seem arbitrary at all. You seem to have a preconception as to how this ability works...

Also if the dayvig is out of shots (and only in that situation; more shots and you can ignore what I have to say), they really should claim. It's nice to have more cleared townies.

I'm aware it wasn't suggested. I was giving an alternate possibility if it isn't necessarily random as in "Everyone literally switches votes to certain people". My thought was more random like "Maybe the randomizer person can choose a set people to have their votes be switched."

I thought scum knew who everybody was?

Mafia knows who all of the other Mafia are (and usually their roles too), but that's really it. They don't get any other information regarding town roles or w/e.
