Poll voting?

Hate night phases? Well there are none!

In this game, there are only 3 roles, the king, the guards, and the assassin.

The goal of the assassin is to kill the king. He/she has only one shot to do so. Do not think you can shoot after a lynch at any point any number of times as this will result in miserable failure, prompting you to become the laughingstock of children in Africa all over the world. At any point in the game, the assassin may send me a pm with the name of the target they are going to kill, even after the assassin has been lynched, so it's advisable to wait until then to attempt to kill. If the assassin succeeds in killing the king, he/she wins, regardless of if he/she dies or not. If the assassin kills a guard instead, he/she instantly loses.

The king is assassin's target, with pretty much nothing else to distinctify him/her. The king wins when the assassin kills someone not him/herself.

The guards are here to protect the king and lynch the assassin. They are also given the name of the king in their role pm so they know who they're protecting. The guards win when the assassin kills someone not the king.

Role pms are as follows:

Assassin:

Assassin

King:

King

Guard:

Guard

[Name of King]

Every day you may vote to lynch like a regular mafia game; day phases last 48 hours or until a majority has been reached.

Other rules:

1. Don't edit your posts.

2. No PMs.

3. Vote in bold.

4. Try to be active.

5. See rules 1-4.

There will be 9 players in this game; 1 assassin, 1 king, and 7 guards.

Suck

1. Psych

2. Uhai

3. Lightning Dracohon

4. I Eat Tables

5. BK-201

6. acey555

7. JB25

8. Ether

Owned

1. SlayerX

What the other topic said here. When 7/9 have posted in the thread and read their role pm, game will start.

Alright, let's go through a few ground rules:

1: Vote the king like he was anybody else. As soon as the assassin notices we're not voting for one person and/or try to lynch someone for suggesting voting said king, he's won the game. Voting for the king as well means that it's harder to find the assassin, but having a chance of winning is better than not winning.

2: Reread rule 1 again.

It's not even day phase yet.

Also, I thought I should add something else: Two strategies are good for AitP: Either randomly bandwagon one person or randomly bandwagon two simultaneously, and then let people choose out of those two. Limits the options for who you lynch but also gives away potentially less information to the assassin (pro tip: That's the key to the game; Assassin kills even once he gets lynched so the game is effectively, lynch lots of people without letting the assassin make an informed decision

Isn't it always Day Phase?

Are we allowed to repeatedly vote one person? Doing that would prevent the assassin from getting any knowledge forcing them to guess.

Yeah. The problem with just doing that to one person is if, say, the assassin starts a bandwagon on the king, and people decide to ignore it etc. Then he has a pretty good indication of who the king is, especially if he tries it again. The two bandwagon strategy is better in that sense, since people can subtly steer the lynch every day.

The point is that we pick a person and repeatedly vote him. It doesn't matter, the assassin could start on any person and we'd ignore it.
