With this, we begin... <br><br>The deities have gathered, all the actors are in place. <br><br>The stage is set. <br><br>The play... has begun. <br><br>RULES: <br><br>[spoiler=RULES copied from smogon] <br>1. Whilst you are alive you can talk to anyone about the game. Once you are dead you cannot talk to anyone about the game unless you are in the same faction, in which case you may talk with members of your team only, and only for strategy purposes. Knowledge acquired after death cannot be transferred from a dead player to a living player. <br><br>2. Every user has a role PM. Role PMs may not be shown to other users on Night 0, but starting from Day 1 onwards they may be freely distributed. Screenshotting of all forms is banned. If anyone finds a person encouraging others to take screenshots or taking screenshots and showing other people, please be sure to report it. <br><br>3. You can paste things told to you by the host. You may fake logs. Do not take pasting of a host conversation as definite proof, these can be faked. If you want to fake a log, feel free to PM one of the hosts for assistance. Impersonation of a host or another user however, is banned at all points. Please do not attempt to impersonate in any way. <br><br>4. Each day will have a deadline of 48 hours. You may vote to lynch users during the day by posting "##Vote USER" in bold, or "##No lynch" if you don't want to lynch anyone (lynch votes will not count if they're not in the correct format!), and if you change your vote, you do not have to edit the old vote of yours out. Once there is a majority as determined by the host, there will be a grace period of 3 hours, and if the majority is still in place after said grace period, the day will end. Please don't ask about when a majority is reached - once it's time for the day to end, it'll end (provided a host is there to update). The game will start on Night 0, but deaths will not happen on Night 0. <br><br>5. If there's a tie, no lynch will take place. <br><br>6. Each night will have a deadline of 48 hours. This gives you 48 hours to send your night action. Remember that PMs are to be sent to Wen Yang. <br><br>6.5. If you're not going to do anything at night, send a PM titled "Night X - idling". This makes keeping track of things easier and informs me that you're still playing the game. <br><br>7. Priorities have been decided beforehand and will not be revealed. <br><br>8. This game does NOT feature items. <br><br>9. Characters will only come from various mythologies. Yes, various mythologies. <br><br>10. Only sign up if you know you're going to be at least fairly active. If I notice that you seem to be idle, I reserve the right to have you forcefully subbed out if necessary. I'll most likely nudge first, though. <br><br>11. Be careful who you trust. In fact, think thrice before you trust anyone, the host included. Note that there will be not be any false information that could lead to a modkill, however. (And yes, you can trust this line at least... probably.) <br><br>11.5. Role PMs are exempt from Rule 11. They will always contain correct information. <br><br>12. Death is probably the end for everyone. <br><br>13. If you have any spreadsheets, please inform me and let me have access to them. <br><br>14. During the day phase, if anyone is modkilled the phase will NOT instantly end and the lynch votes will be reset. The phase will also be extended if warranted. If anyone is modkilled during the night, they will be modkilled at the end of the phase. <br><br>15. After death you are allowed ONE more info-free post. This could be a "Fuck you all you guys suck" post, or "Good luck guys" sort of post, or a simple rickroll. As long as it doesn't contain any information about the game, it's fine. Excessive deathtalking will have unpleasant results for you AND your team. You have been warned. <br><br>16. If your Role PM contradicts the rules, follow your role PM. <br><br>17. There are no hidden players. You can trust the host on this one. Maybe. <br><br>18. Expect many unconventional things in this mafia. <br><br>19. This game encourages outside contact. Talk wherever you want, but please send me game-relevant logs for endgame purposes. Thanks beforehand. <br><br>20. Editing is allowed withing acceptable limits.
