Irysa
Everytime I think I've figured it out in one game I find an anomaly somewhere. It doesn't even seem entirely consistent between games really (noticable in awakening since you can mess around with it so much). So does anyone have like a cohesive set of rules that let you know exactly where a unit is going to end up if you use the staff? Refa
Pretty sure Kaoz figured out how Rescue staves worked in Awakening at least. Not as sure about the other games, but it is annoying how inconsistent it gets.
Kaoz
Pretty sure Kaoz figured out how Rescue staves worked in Awakening at least. Not as sure about the other games, but it is annoying how inconsistent it gets. I didn't figure it out, I asked a bunch of people (including you) about it. In Awakening, the priority should be Down > Right > Left > Up; terrain tiles (so Forests, Forts etc.) are skipped if possible. Credits to Refa, Tables and whoever I might be forgetting. dondon151
rescue tile priority is consistent within the GBA games, but it's different in those compared to the later games.
Chiki
I had to figure it out in my LTC runs. I don't remember it clearly anymore, but in FE9 and FE10 the order is north > west > south > east, from most priority to least. But I could be wrong. Quintessence
Isn't it north > west > east > south in FE10? I think it functions the same when you attack an enemy, for example with Meteor or Sleep Staff
