I let my units die, the ultimate sin for FE. My first Radiant Dawn epilogue was like an obituary. My real start with the series was Sacred Stones and I soloed the game with Seth and so it didn't seem too bad.

I second the Golden Sun games. They had some of the best music despite running on the GBA. Some have recommended the persona side series but the main Shin Megami Tensei series has good music especially Nocturne. As for games you might want to just find the music for, there's Last Ranker by Yoko Shimomura, the same person behind Kingdom Hearts.

I have two shinies I encountered randomly because I'm too lazy to chain, two shiny geodudes. I wish I could get something cooler.

Priam's Ragnell has 25 uses, that's some cheap Chinese knockoff Ragnell,l and I don't know what happened to the one he used while fighting the player. Also, even if skills are genetic, it's not like genes are the only way to learn a skill even if it's a trademark of certain characters.

My main gripes are the lack of the Battle Frontier, especially considering how it's directly referenced, and the excuse plot of the Delta episode. Zinnia was a really poorly conceived character.

Someone with more knowledge please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not familiar with 3DS hardware or with how fire emblem saves data, but it doesn't seem that this game's save file size should be excessively large. Skyrim's save files for example, can be something like 15Mb+ and higher with mods which is understandable considering how many unique variables there are (and being a poorly optimized game in general). Fire emblem needs to record things like supports, stats, game progress, inventory with weapon uses, ect. It doesn't seem to me that fire emblem requires large amounts of data for each save file. The 3DS cartridges can potentially store 8Gb at best and the vanilla game size is 1.3Gb so even if we aren't in a perfect world and have 8Gb available it doesn't seem impractical to have more than 3 save files. Again, if someone more informed than me can tell me otherwise, please do as this really bothers me.

Rune Factory is a game you should check out before you get it. Its appeals are pretty niche and it's entirely possible you'll see no point to it. If you've played Final Fantasy III and liked it Bravely Default would probably be a good one to try.

I overused Sothe and Ilyana and didn't train any staff user to any level of competence. This was my second FE game after Sacred Stones so the difficulty jump was rather large.

I beat chapter 5 with a 4 use javelin and no silver lance but what I did is kind of dependent on the whims of higher beings. Best of luck to you.

I don't know if someone mentioned this already, but A rank supports give the same pair up bonuses as S ranks do so don't mind the S rank.
