  1. All of the facial features (nose, eyes, mouth) are a little oversized, so the portrait looks a lot more cartoony than the actual FE portraits. As a result of the big features, the face is bigger than it should be on the head and the hair starts really far up on the head.

  2. Pretty sure Z/O uses the 3d models now, and even when they did have sprites they were all the official ones.

You didn't really fix anything I said... The head looks exactly the same, and instead of making him broader or anything you just made him shorter? The shoulder pad looks a little better, but the part close to his neck looks like it would be digging into his neck.

  3. The facial proportions are pretty off. His eyes are way too far up his head and his head is just small in general. His hair sort of suffers from his head being too small as well. His head just looks like a straight up oval, no real defined jaw action going on at all. The body is still major twink level, and the shoulder pad doesn't look a shoulder pad, it looks like a solid leather semi-sphere strapped to the top of his shoulder. His clothes seem excessively wrinkled and something about the colors and design just makes me think he's wearing like silk pajamas.

  4. Wow that's a lot of portraits for 1 post! These are pretty good! The hair could use some work, it seems like there is a lot of the darker shades in sort of chunks and things.

HibikiGungnirGX_zps90ggaip8.pngIf this girl's shoulder is supposed to be bare, it should be curvier, it's a pretty sharp angle right now.

  5. I hope his arms aren't too short that would be a painful fix O.O I'll investigate later.

I have a hard time coming up for mage clothing beyond robes, and you can only give so many people 1 armor shoulder. What would you do to make it less bland?

  6. Blond eyes...

You're not really ready for customs yet, go for more complex splices first. Right now, the shading is way out of whack (especially hair), the lines aren't very smooth, and the anatomy is off in some places (such as a GIANT ear). Splicing familiarizes the shading techniques, so if you keep working with those it'll rub off some.

  7. Nice Ephraim, the cape seems maybe a lil bright and the bottom corner is weird, the lance is also sort of weird, but the rest looks great!

Salvage the hand by putting it on someone licking their fingers and have him do something else.

  8. Instead of moving the hairline down like you did, you should have moved the focal point of the hair to our left. He looks like he's wearing an Indian Headress now. I agree that the hair is a little long, if you feel something is wrong you should probably change it, we can be our own critics. The chin and neck look better.
