Giving the Heim Scroll to Karen was godly. She got two pretty much perfect level ups in a row. Fricking Leif did not even strength with the Hezul Scroll. He is still disgusting. Anyways chapter 4 is done, the hardest chapter in the game is coming up, and Leif only has ten Light Brand uses left...

My sleep was really awkward since my favorite sportsman just has been sent to pension past evening. And this comes by someone who is hardly interested in sports overall. @Armagon Same, I cannot play action RPGs with keyboard controls either. YsI and II sorta worked, but for Tokyo Xanadu I bought a keyboard. Actually it took me much time to figure out how to sync the controller to the game (thanks to Shrimperor btw). I am playing Berseria with a third party controller but I have no issues with it. However playing it will bring my laptop's battery from 100% to zero in about an hour.

In general all the females look better after timeskip with the exception of Petra and Ingrid. I wished could show it to mine too... if I had them. Anyways your grandpa is a good taste!

same here (in the beginning) I do not like pre-timeskip Bernie and I do not like most of Linhardt's C supports. However he gets better the higher the support rank is. I really like his one with Lysithea. As for Bernadetta she looks WAY better after timeskip and she also behaves WAY better.

Chapter 3 Ronan has adept and two movement stars, so he could have more practical use than Tanya. His bad strength growth could be covered by scrolls, so after all I would not consider a bad unit since everyone is technically usable in FE5. Though he is not required for further recruitments, so he can stay dead.

Finally pulled Orsin (even with perfect IVs +atk / -HP). Now I have them all with some nice extras for less than 300 orbs. Now I can save for next year already.

Optional battles in maddening are not that hard. The difficulty spike is definitely lower than in story and especially paralogue chapters. However they give like no battle experience. Staff experience is not reduced, so a great opportunity to train healers and give Lys the experience she needs and deserves. I had no real problem with chapter 5, unless it is maddening because of moving DK, but chapter 6 was bad for me because I did not know the gimmick of the boss and how to beat it. Even in normal it can oneshot some units.

Done with the first dungoen Of course I lost to the first boss. I got many Eryn lectures, honestly a bit too many of them so early on. But I think these battle and dungoen basics are easy to understand. I think easy difficulty sounds like a fair compromise.
