In general I was talking about maddening mode, so you might be right in lower difficulties. In normal Bernadetta was usable simply because the enemies were slow enough to make her able doubling them.

Three days have been passed and still could not beat Marianne's paralogue. I do not remember its reward, but I will skip it and press forward with final chapter.

Honestly if Ferdinand had not been speedblessed, I only would have used Petra. The other two parties have more to offer overall. GD has Lys and Claude, the two best PP units in the game (latter needs to wait till timekip). I might argue that BL might not be too great either. Ingrid is a weaker Petra, but can serve as dodgetank earlier than her. Mercedes has fortify, so already great. Dimitri is the "weakest" Lord overall because he is worse than Edelgard before timeskip, and worse than Claude after timeskip. Annette's rally is amazing in maddening. BE has Petra who is Speedy Gonzales with decent strength. Her poor defense and resistance can be covered easily. As amazing Edelgard is before timeskip, as frail she is after that. Also fuck her personal promotions, the worst promotions I have seen in FE yet. Hubert and Dorothea have long range magic, but statwise they are neither great and three range magic is not really that much needed. Give Ingrid a forged thunder sword and she will do better than them. Caspar is pointless, just a weaker Raphael. I might have gone hard with Bernadetta, but she always sucked, and Ignatz has served me better as an archer. And he can easily learn deathblow and use swords.

@DragonFlames Black Eagles is the weakest party overall. In my maddening run I only use Petra and Ferdinand. The rest either was benched or died. Edelgard is a safety risk in enemy phase with her abysmal speed, but same applies to Dimitri.

Ah, I should have waited with my buy of a PS4. GameStop offers a PS4 slim with 1 GB for 199 €. I have to take the price for not being patient...

The only classic SMT game I have played has been IV. Still have to play neutral path which I did not know how to unlock. I enjyed it, but Devil Survivor is still my favorite SMT series because it is a round based strategical RPG. I had to sell my DeSu 1 copy because it had a massive bug. Whenever I wanted to resummon a new demon on the map, the game crashed.

As already mentioned Io, Airi and Fumi have a figure and the protagonist a nendroid. Fumi costs exactly as much as Airi and Io together.

Three Houses is rather a player phase game, at least in maddening, because you want to get rid / prevent reinforcements asap. Sure, there are maps to turtle, but they are in the minority. -
Black Friday on Amazon will begin in an hour. Honestly I am really excited. Hopefully some good equipment for my Switch and PS4 will be on sale. Still need controllers.

Of all my bought figurines, the very first one which was Airi Ban from Devil Survivor 2 has been the best one. For its low price the compositon was splendid, absolutely nothing to complaint about. The last three figurines on the other hand, oh dear, I do not want to comment any further. Anyways I have learned my lesson. I will switch to dolls since I need something to cuddle at night. My two Rosies need comrades.

Raphael with gauntlets is a good PP unit. The weakest characters still can become a dancer at least, so they are not quite useless. I think Caspar and Lorenz are good potential dancers. I wanted to make Lorenz become a dancer in my GD run, but unfortunately he did not have the required charm. Still in my BE run of the BE I only use Edelgard, Petra, Ferdinand and Linhardt. Everyone else was benched or died. -

Black Eagles is easily the worst party although I definitely rank Edelgard higher than Dimitri because she can easier oneshot things, even in maddening. Both are slow, but Edelgard will be affected through the entire game because of her terrible personal promotions. As for the other BE students everyone aside of Petra has a better replacement. Linhardt has warp at least which is rare. Ferdinand might be the best paladin, but I never made him become one. He is my dancer right now and does his job very well. -

I forgot to mention that I also bought the first two God Eater parts too for PS4 which also are on sale (13 € for both parts (!!!)) in EU PS store right now. I played a demo of the first game since Project X Zone introduced me into this, and this was fun.
