It seems one of my other questions was missed. Is it possible to save scum supports like it was in Awakening, where all you had to do was view the support, save, and you could delete the file and it would remain?
-
Anyone got any tips for the souped-up fly minigame? I want all the costumes, but this is hard.
-
What is wrong with the female Avatar's feet?I like the Dark Blood's look so much more...the tattered cape though, not so much.
-
We need more Dark Magic, so how about one that deals flat damage?
Leviathan
Rank: B
Might: 20
Hit: 65
Crit: 0
Range: 1~2
Bonus: Ignores User's Mag and Target's Res
Seems like it'd be good early game, but rather awful mid-to-late-game.
Cautery Sword
Rank: D
Might: 6
Hit: 90
Crit: 0
Range: 1~2
Description: Magic weapon. Cannot trigger critical hits or special skills.
It casts Fire from afar. I still love Dragon Quest too much. <.<

Two questions, not one.
When is the earliest chapter that the children are available?
And is it still possible to save scum supports like in Awakening? -
So, I was looking through the weapons list of Fates, and I found some weapons that were pretty cool, and I like the ideas of varying buffs and debuffs
even if my beloved silver weapons have taken it hard.
So, in light of that, I was thinking, what kind of weapons would you make?
So far, I've only REALLY had one weapon in mind that I can actually think up since I'm playing the game it's originally from, but I was thinking of Magic Burst as a Nohrian tome.
Magic Burst-Rank: S
Might: 0Hit: 100
Crit: 0
Avoid: 0
Range: 1~2
Description: Calculates User's Magic Stat x 2 for damage. Can not double, trigger critical hits or special skills. After battle, magic stat is reduced to 0.
At most, I would probably raise it to maybe by 2.5, but I don't want it to be TOO broken, although all those penalties make it a decent trade-off to a lot of boosts for that kind of power. Probably something best used on bosses, if not THE final boss, though. -
Truly? Good. Otherwise, that would have just been...a lot more awkward than it already is.
-
Ah. Next question, 'cuz I just saw something that surprised and...baffled me.
[spoilers]Can Azura actually marry Xander and Leo..? 'Cuz...I thought they were actually SUPPOSED to be siblings.[/spoilers]
-
I don't put much thought beyond whom I think I like best with each other. =\ For example, I always liked Ricken and Miriel together due to Laurent's conversation with Ricken in Future Past.
-
This seems like something that could have been avoided simply by making at least one more available woman in every route. As it stands, it looks like only two out of NINE files are going to actually have EVERY single character. =\
-
Bah. This blows, because currently, I am set on marrying my avatar to Aqua.
-
So, I heard something about how, in all available routes, as a male avatar you can not marry certain women or else you'll leave one of the men out? Can someone explain this? 'Cuz it seems like a silly oversight, and, if true, is something that I hope is given a patch to fix.

Reluctant Combatant:
If user is the only unit in range of an enemy, user gains +2 to all stats. Does not activate during either attack or defense stance. If not alone, -2 to all stats.
This kind of goes to a thing with me at work where I'm often the one to stay behind in the face of more work. Namely, most people (Even those that come after me) tend to leave before me, even during the face of a massive rush. Otherwise, my work ethic kinda fluctuates with how tired I am of this job. -
The update's out. In order for the download prompt to appear, you apparently have to start up a room for it.
You need to purchase Linebeck's costume before you can use it, which costs about 3000 rupees, and five materials. As for the Fierce Deity Outfit, it looks like it's the Den of Trials reward. -
So, apparently, if you don't fight the Amiibo to recruit them, you can get the item to reclass to them. Can you say, do that, scan them in again, and then fight them to get them in your army, or no?
I can't get enough of this song. -
If memory serves, if it IS on the VC, it's probably on the JP/EU one. I don't recall seeing it on there unless they added it at some point where I wasn't looking.

Even though Omnislash debuted as a move over a decade before Great Aether, and is something that Cloud actually had from his original game, unlike Ike..?
-
I'm starting to think that my favorite vocations in the game are generally the ones that are more physically-oriented. The fact that so many, if not all of their big moves have such high power at the cost of no MP is simply amazing, with a lot of multi-enemy/hit skills. And Boulder Toss is the best thing ever to me.

To be honest, Linkle is kind of a silly name.
-
I kind of don't mind this game much. I mean...five plays for a dollar...crane machines here, unless they're for candy, are like...one play for fifty cents to a dollar, and they're all super-rigged to never let you win anything, always shaking hard and swinging side to side, making sure everything drops. At least this is cute and is honest about what they're doing.

I didn't know you could make save the queen before fighting ifrit. How do you get the magazine for forging it?
I didn't. I just got the materials for it.
"The Save the Queen is Quistis's most powerful whip modeled from Malboro Tentacle x2, Sharp Spike x4, and Energy Crystal x4. It is the only ultimate weapon whose materials can be obtained without leaving Balamb Garden via Triple Triad and Card Mod." -The Final Fantasy Wiki.

Oh, I know. Before I did this run, I managed to get past it up until the final dungeon...and then I put the game down for a few years...I just never got back to it, but I decided I'd try and beat it this year, though. I started over though, because I just couldn't remember much otherwise about what I'd done.

I'm astounded. I'm not yet done grinding, but I notice that there are SO MANY really strong abilities that cost 0 MP. It's really ridiculous, actually. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I find so many ridiculously powerful attacks that I can just fire off and not ever worry about running about MP.
