Yune didn't bring anyone from the dead though. Possibly she doesn't even have that ability or wasn't able to when she woke up.
Also Ashera didn't bring dead soldiers back to life initially(if at all?); she turned them to stone then freed them from stone to work for her.

if there was more variance between each anima type as a result classes were more varied, i would say FE4/5/9/10 style

as in graphically? You would have to rip the image file from the game(GBAGE can do this pretty easily), do your editing, then insert the image again via the image editor. IIRC those portraits are not stored as regular portraits.

I'm almost certain it's based off of his magic because I always bait him with my sorens, and he does 0-5 damage depending on how res-blessed mine happens to be. If it was based of strength, that damage would have to be much higher
