  1. @Espurrhoodie said she had a dream where a FE4 remake had a love potion item to increase love points, among other things, but this item would make the most sense. It doesn't even have to be a potion, or one item. Like, if Arya likes potatoes but hates apples, and you want to pair her with Lex, have him give her a potato. Food, flowers, and little gift items. Like real courtship or the gift system in 3H.

    Definitely change Hilda's name.

Allow Saias to talk to his father. Arvis kinda needs to know he's got one son that turned out alright.

    Where's my Tomas fanzine dammit.

This is a joke, but I like the idea of a fanzine about the Agarthan illusion victims. Who they really were and all that. Tomas, we have the least about. We know he was the librarian. That's it. For Monica, we get that DLC paralogue where you fight her dad. For Lord Arundel, we hear about how he used to donate to the church and was a decent uncle to Edelgard. And Cornelia? I'm pretty darn sure she was killed and replaced, but we never get the name of the Agarthan who did so. I'm saying Cleobulus, the datamined Agarthan name that wasn't used. But for her, we hear that she was a court mage. About as much as Tomas, but she gets more screentime.

That's why I said "so long as I can use it". I'm on friendly terms with the artists I've commissioned, and of course I would ask their permission.

Maybe ask a few of them if they know how you could start this? A lot of them could probably point you to connections to help.

  3. Lord Raven, I am back here just to comment that it was Ana. While I do not condone her threatening suicide, she is still my friend, as she has been from before I joined SF. I hope you can agree that if someone was your friend, you would be more sympathetic to them. She was banned, from my understanding, for not backing out of heated arguments. But I would be lying if I said nobody egged her on and nobody stirred the pot.

Some of this is coming from the area I live in as well. Wyoming is a red state. My family, my neighbors. Trump supporters. So when you guys say some of these things about Trump supporters, you are indirectly saying these things about my family and neighbors. Step back a bit and try to see where I'm coming from. It does not matter if Crysta says "I don't care about your mom". She does not have to care about my mom or what my mom thinks, but imagine if you were on the recieving end.

It just feels like there is no gray area allowed here. You are either red or blue. You're not allowed to be purple. And heck, if you're red...well, good luck.

  4. Ideas I loved:

Give a hint about where to find Stefan.

Training units in things they would realistically be good at, no mage Boyd.

Random mercenary missions for extra cash and exp.

    Idea I was meh on:

The mercenary camp like the monastery. I worry that it will become tedious like it was in 3H, but it's a cool idea.

    Ideas I will add:

Gauntlets. Perfect for Boyd and Largo.

Overwork the laguz system. They should stay shifted the entire battle so they're not useless for half of it. Instead, use their transform gauge for an AoE attack or a special skill. Maybe a cat or raven would leap or fly forward and attack an enemy a few spaces away, but a tiger or hawk would get an attack that does extra damage to an enemy right in front of them. After using this, it takes a good amount of time to recharge. Beorc units can get battalions instead.

It's probably because you're still on this page.

And while you are, yes, people on both sides can do terrible things, but maybe you should really look into what they are fighting for before instantly saying they are equal.

One on wants equality from decade of depressions and mistreatment.

The other seemingly believes in a lie.

People are way more lenient for causes that seems more just.

This is the fairest point I've been told. I realize how it looked like I said "both sides are equal".

I have learned that I'm really too soft for this kind of thing. Nazis and the idiots who did this are absolutely not equal to you and me. Republican lawmakers who reject change...yeah, I can see the annoyance at them and agree with it. I was very disappointed in my home state of Wyoming for having so many lawmakers who voted against the election. I get it.

It's really hard to find the right words to say things without looking like a massive idiot.

That seems to be forumwide and no way to say one topic.

the fact that you actually unironically believe this suggests to me that you weren't paying attention to the past 4 years.

You are right. I do not pay attention to most politics because I hate drama and I hate hate. Political discussions stress me out to the point of tears. Which I am starting now.

A little bit of kindness goes a long way, as does viewing the opposite side as human. Humans who make bad decisions and may be in echo chambers of bad thoughts.

If you're more interested in defending the goodwill of Trump supporters than anything else after all this, that's probably a good idea.

What I was interested in is saying "we need to respect our democracy" and "the two party system is what's wrong with this country"

  7. I will gracefully back out of this. My final word is that I am saddened by this country. I will back out before I put my foot in my mouth with the final word:

There are Republicans who are not these people we speak of. Source: My mother. She is a lovely lady. And most of the state of Wyoming. If I don't get to say that Biden supporters may have possibly pulled this, then you guys don't get to say that all Republicans are the same as these idiots.

I'd be a hypocrite for not calling this out.  No more of this "both sides" bullshit.  One side clearly had an agenda, and very clearly marched on Capitol Hill yesterday.  One side has shouted about how the election was stolen.  One side filed a lot of lawsuits regarding said election, which were promptly shot down.  One side has the support of the white supremacist groups.  And one side still gets mad about wearing a face mask in public, in the middle of a pandemic.

Apparently, none of these are deal breakers to you.  But please understand why there's such a sentiment against Trump's camp - it's not an accident.

I was saying that there are nutjobs on both sides in general, not just related to this incident. Biden supporters weren't the aggressors in this case. But if Trump had won, I feel that Biden supporters would do something similar. Biden supporters have rioted and destroyed property over BLM. Biden supporters are not angels either. And I say that as one.

The problem, as I said, is Trump does not call out his bad apple supporters. The problem with this country is the two parties would rather fight each other than work together, and people on both the far right and far left do things like this.

Does this mean that this represent all Trump supporters? No. But they form a large section of the base  that Trump is more than willing to keep activity pander to them and stir up emotions for, and this dates well back to the 2016 republican primary when this was one of the factors that enable him to win the primary and become the republican candidate.

This is fair. I've noticed that Trump never wants to call out the bad apples in his supporter base, which only encourages them.

If they want to claim that Biden is unfit for office, why not wait for something to actually happen instead of embarrassing their cause?

Yeah, this. They are only making themselves look bad. If Biden was unfit and something extreme happened, Congress would have him out before they could do anything too.
