It just annoys me. I've played since GBA days, and when I tried Awakening on hard for my first playthrough it kicked my butt and I had to start over on normal mode. Granted I rarely used pair up, which is supposedly broken. But coming from old FE with rescue instead of pair up I didn't get used to using it. Now we have people saying "3H is easy on maddening mode" and I'm just like...how did these people get so good and I'm over here doing casual mode so I can beat all paths in a timely ish manner. Why do I suck?

I mean to each their own. I'm a fanfic person though. Fanfics do cover lore that the game doesn't. It's not all cringe. There's a lot of cringe in fanfic but there's also seriousness. But things like My Immortal and Misohn From God and Waluigi's Taco Stand, those kind of things just give the whole fanfic community a bad name and I hate it. And yeah, one user in the 2nd Gen thread does kinda need to work on character creation skills. Not naming names, that'd be rude. I cringe at most of said person's ideas.
