  1. Pressing the Home button makes it take awhile to actually go back to the home menu for me. More notably, closing the game from the home menu makes my entire 3DS crash and reboot. I have update 1.0.3.
  2. I know, but I'm more confused on...well...why did they put this in the ROM in the first place? It doesn't relate to Awakening in any way, whatsoever. All of the other unused files were at least related to the game.
  3. I noticed that absolutely nobody in Awakening wields the Ragnell correctly, even Priam himself. Even Olivia can hold the Ragnell in one hand, and she can throw it like throwing knives with Astra XD
  4. Yep, this is definitely it, I'm 100% sure Joking aside, I'm really surprised they just left this in the game's ROM.
  5. What is in that Book of Secrets? I can read a bit of it, but absolutely none of it is related to Awakening. It talks of rounded rectangles, layers, and color codes. Also, it doesn't end correctly. It ends on "above your", I think. I think that unknown armory item that you couldn't recognize may have been a Pure Water.
  6. Rage: +1 STR and MAG for every 10 damage taken, maxing out at +5. Speed Demon: The enemy cannot double you. Phantom: The enemy attack will go through you, dealing no damage (activation rate = Defense or Resistance / 4, depending on enemy weapon type). Staffbreaker: +50 HIT/AVO if the enemy has the ability to wield staves. Staff Expert: Add MAG / 4 to damage healed when using staves (for example, a character with 60 MAG would have 15 HP added to their staves.This would be pretty much an advanced class version of healtouch). Oh yeah, I forgot support bonuses as well...
  7. I somehow managed to be bad at what is considered one of the easiest games in the series, FE: The Sacred Stones. I lost huge amounts of units and had no idea about any tactics.
  8. Stahl would probably be better in your case. Vaike is mostly for postgame Apotheosis shenanigans with Axefaire and high strength.
  9. With Miracle, you can get the best Vengeance results possible (1 hp = 39 extra damage with an 80 hp character). TBH, save state abuse on casual mode really breaks Apotheosis. I can get almost full control of anything and everything that happens, and that is why Apotheosis isn't really a "true" test of skill and tactics unless you play on classic mode.
  10. That's what battle saves/bookmarks are for. I can preview the RNG before I actually accept it.
  11. "Yarne - Because...bunnies" This is definitely canon But to be realistic, I think it should be Laurent or Cynthia for Male MU and Lucina for Female MU (because it is literally the only choice for FeMU).

If you have a combined 160 defense (which should be possible with LB Generals/Manaketes with DEF Tonics, Rallies, Pair-up bonuses, and a possible Barracks surge), Dual Guard+, and Devotion, you are 100% invincible to physical attacks when at 1/4 HP or lower. However, If Devotion is calculated before DG+, then you only get a 90% Dual Guard rate. If Devotion is calculated first, It would be [(160 DEF / 4) * 2] + 10 = 90. If DG+ is calculated first, it would be [(160 DEF / 4) + 10] * 2 = 100 (In conclusion, it's pretty much broken, as long as DG+ takes first priority) EDIT: I forgot to mention that the Gae Bolg and Helswath also raise your defense.
  13. I didn't mean THAT reliable of a Miracle rate...I meant at least semi-reliable (75 - 85 LCK). Sorry for the confusion.
  14. You made several mistakes: First, skill flaw does actually lower your Strength by one point. Second, HP Tonics and Tiki's Tear do not stack (even if they did stack, you would be forgetting the Kris's Confect as well). Third, Limit Breaker is MUCH more effective than HP+5. Fourth, Gerome doesn't need all of those stat boosters, as they do not increase your pair up bonuses. Fifth, as mentioned above, you are forgetting a Barracks surge of Strength. Shadowofchaos made a more optimal setup on Youtube quite awhile ago.
  15. You could give the Boots to Morgan or Severa and get Deliverer from the Griffon Rider class to get an ultra-mobile axe powerhouse.
  16. Ah, ok. The only reason I'm not a fan of Vengeance is because it takes a bit effort and calculations to use Vengeance effectively. You need to factor in the damage the opponent deals, your current health, enemy crits/enemy skill activations, ally Dual Guards...Basically, I'm saying it isn't very reliable, and make sure you are careful with it. BTW, I only use Vengeance if I also have a reliable Miracle activation rate EDIT: I noticed that your Kjelle has the ability to get Galeforce, but she doesn't have it.
  17. I usually put All Stats+2 on people who don't have access to good offensive skills. Also, I highly recommend you replace Vengeance with better activation skills, assuming those Vengeance users have access to Luna/Ignis/Astra in the first place. By the way, what path are you doing? Normal or Secret?
  18. Up B could be an edited version of Ike's Aether. She dashes forwards, does a weak hit that heals your percentage (like Sol), takes a step back, and smashes through the opponent with Luna (or this could be one of those trapping final smashes, like Cpt. Falcon and Shulk).
  19. I only have one legitimate gripe: the model quality was a little low for a 3DS game. Other than that, my only problems with Awakening mostly consist of very small nitpicks (Rally Luck gives +8 LCK but Luck Tonic doesn't give an increased amount of luck, some characters have very limited support, some of the chapters feel like they are just there to fill space, etc.) Oh, and some of the characters were pretty bland. Yarne is always scared and is interesting in no way other than that, Lucina doesn't have much to offer out of "I can't get a joke", and Tharja is just...bleh. Actually, now that I think about it, most of the children are really bland and one-sided.
  20. Tharja's design looked so generic that I actually completely missed her on my first playthrough and continued to be unaware of her existence for a long time. I know she even gets her own cutscene, but at the time, I just skipped over all cutscenes. I mistook her as a generic Plegian dark mage. So...I guess my choice of who I don't use is her by default.
  21. You can't really rank the children accurately here, considering their father's/mother's modifiers and classes vary. For example, Laurent's father could be Ricken on one file, but having his father as Vaike or Frederick on another file would greatly impact his stat growths, modifiers, and reclassing options. I usually keep everybody as their original, promoted classes anyway (excluding Donnel, of course). I only do this because their modifiers were built for these classes originally. For example. Maribelle is a bad combat unit when reclassed to a War Cleric/Falcon Knight, but she excels at tome-wielding combat when she is a Valkyrie/Sage. Also, I would just like to note that Cordelia is actually great as a Dark Flier. In the secret path of Apotheosis, she was a great help with her forged Celica's Gale for me.
  22. http://serenesforest.net/awakening/inventory/tomes/ At the bottom of the page, there is a note about specific tomes' worth. It says: *1: Sells for 1/4 of its "smaWorth" instead of 1/2. I don't know what happened there.
