I think I've heard/read this somewhere, but this game is supposed to have a main story, right? How will that work out? Especially since we use "small" maps. I can't see us recruiting units during battles by talking to them. Will we just "summon" them around, little bit like Cross Edge/Project X Zone did? Feels like that to me thus far. How many story battles to expect? One for each FE seems logical, with the main villian summoning the final bosses with their generals around. Then one more chapter to finish the game and open up link/wifi battles? That seems to become the main attraction to the game. Buying DLC weapons for additional money, more EXP or much stronger skills? Really can't wait to start playing XD

Since you know me, I would go for LTC, WITH enemy phase :P

Will there be a special edition? Will there be anything really special about it? I guess it won't be as fancy as FE:F's special edition, but still... Anything that might be worth it?

Looks great thus far. Planning on getting THE hammer in C3? Or skipping it and taking the left route? You think 9uses of SL is plenty, or saving it for later?

Anyone has some? I can't seem to find many, while I fought more before. Would like a full list of them, so I can beat them over and over again. Like this it will be like <10seconds to beat and farm BP. How many battles again, before I can revisit? Was it 24? Time limit doesn't seem to work for me.

Owh... Then not so good then... Exactly how does the whole amiboo stuff work? I have an "oldish" 3DS, so might not be possible at all. Never was really clear to me.

Thanks everyone! Great reactions, really useful :) You all kinda confirm, what I was already thinking. I guess I will just stick with Boo Camp, Ghostly Gold and Witches Trail. Maybe will also get Vanguard Dawn, that map seems really fun to play (just watching it on YouTube). The +3 spd, -1 str is also great for mages.

Got Boo Camp, Ghostly Gold and Witches Trail. Just saw something of Museum Melee, I really don't think that map is worth it. Too much work for little treasure, might aswell just spend my Ghostly Gold cash on other castles. I can't "only" get Hidden Truth1, I need to buy them both, which is still a bit to expensive. Guess I will skip Point Blank. Still not sure about Vanguard Dawn, how nice as those new classes?

Since the DLC is 30% off for a few more days, I guessed I might at well buy some. But what to get? And what's not worth it? Since most DLC doesn't revolve my "own party", I'm not really interested. This makes (almost) the whole Map Pack2 not appealing to me. I don't see a point in getting any of the ~taker skills. Only Point Blank seems possible worthwhile. How easy is it to farm and how many bow-users do we really want... Two at most? € 1,39 worth that? I am in doubt. Ghostly Gold? Never had money issues but free money is always good. Boo Camp? Hell yeah. Witches Trail? Hell yeah. Museum Melee? In doubt. Might be worth it. Sparkling spots again? A list of the said weapons? Royal Royale? I got a strong feeling that 2x Dark Flier and 2x Dread Fighter is sufficient in any playthrough. Hidden Truth? Expensive. New classes worthwhile? I think not, but still... Anna on the Run, not worth it to me. Not a fan of Anna, also nothing really special about her. Vanguard Dawn? Worth it? Ballistician Blitz? Doesn't seem worth while. So in short, Ghostly Gold, Boo Camp, Witches Trail for sure. Maybe Vanguard Dawn, Royal Royale, Museum Melee? Your thoughts?

Even though I do like Lucius, I usually prefer to use Erk and Pent. Main reason is that he comes a few chapters after Erk and is weighted down by most of his light tomes. For what I remember is that Anima magic is a little more accurate too. Extra crit from light magic never really made a difference to me. Lucius should be thankful that there isn't any Wind tome in this game.

So this is the project you were talking about XD Why not do it in H5? Plan out all the dodges and crits, you will hit like 8mins if you rush. Worst part about that video is skipping the entire enemy phase, really made it no fun to watch.

Not really looking for skills right now... But I would appreciate all the Battle Points I can get, only need to do 1k myself right now, to get to 9999. So anything that can make it go faster is much appreciated XD

Lol. Yeah, I had this problem before. You actually need to lock your "friends" to make sure they don't get erased.

I like to see Henry as one of the better dads for Gerome, so I also would go with Libra for Inigo. Both can go Berserker. Or you get Inigo to be a Sorceror. With these dads I believe both can get the same skill set. 1. Limit Breaker 2. Aggressor 3. Anathema 4. Axefaire 5. filler. To bad neither will get Luna. Inigo can still get Galeforce, while also wanting Sol (IIRC he gets hero line).

Wow, started 29th of January, almost 29 December now. Is that the day you will finish this? I thought you did SD much quicker, any reason why this game took ages to comment on?

I like the GBA series best. Sure, RD or PoR had better graphics, but I didn't like the characters/enemies as much. SD also felt like a big step backwards, I can't blame the bad sales figures of it. The game was just too basic for a modern FE game. The next game didn't make it to EU/US which is still very unfortunate... I do think they could still launch it, to gain some easy cash. They could even make a "cheap" 3DS bundle with a both games on a single cartridge. Just saying... What I really would like for a new FE game? Drama. Get to the timeline of Lucina. Let us go through it al, with detailed maps. Let us feel how it is like to find one of your parents death corpse... The need to kill your mother, or she will kill you, not knowing anything from her life before beeing a Risen. In the end we confront Grima, in a broken world. We can succeed and get a "good" ending. A bad ending and a"true" ending. Beeing Lucina running back to the past... Would be a gr(ave)eat story with lots of potential.

How is feeding Olivia (a dancer) THAT much EXP not grinding? In a casual playthrough she will likely NEVER kill a single enemy. Just let Lucina learn Galeforce on her own, or do it the "easy" way, pass down from 10/15 Sumia.
