  1. Gross. That series is terrible, especially after <Your Favorite Entry>/Blazing Sword was released. <Your Favorite Character> and their bad writing really highlights how terrible it is.
  2. I thought Sumia punching Chrom in the face was pretty funny. Primarily because the idea of Sumia actually hitting anything hard enough for it to be noticeable is ridiculous. (Also L'Arachel. Every last one of her lines.)
  3. If Lynch was forced to be on the cover of the next Madden game, I'd love to see what he'd try to pulll to show his disapproval. In other news, I just want to remind everyone that New Orleans has a football team that occasionally plays football, and sometimes wins games. I know it's really easy to forget.
  4. Honestly, I have very simple tastes when it comes to games and programs, so everything I like (Civ V, CK2, etc) runs on Linux. For the stuff I don't, I have my old OS on a small partition with a few games. I suppose I'll get 10 just for fun, but I don't really see any reason to. The fact that an OS being given "for free" is such a wonderful, revolutionary concept is one of the reasons that I switched over to Linux.
  5. When my house was destroyed in a storm, all I had was AW:DS to play with for the next few days (before the battery died). I have very, very fond memories. Absolutely amazing game, for an amazing series. It's a shame Days of Ruin never really went anywhere. I really liked that spinoff.
  6. Hello, lords, ladies, bastards and barons! Has anyone here found a good character for the Game of Thrones/SoIaF mod?
  7. Crusader Kings II: Now With 20% More Incest (CK2 + FE13)
  8. Basically, what Nick is saying. Blu- Er, embellish as much as possible. Make yourself sound impressive, but also make yourself sound like you need the scholarship. After being rejected for automatic scholarships due to .02 points, I emailed the university employees and head of my undergraduate program several times asking for their help. The guy promised to look into it, and here I am today. Don't just contact the university, or the office that gets hundreds of similar letters every year. Find someone on the inside, and light a fire under their ass. People that only deal with money will be stingier. EDIT: Oh, and be somewhat concise. Pick a sentence that hits the person in the face with your greatness, and keep punching. Nobody wants to slog through a long letter that takes forever to get to the point. Honestly, writing like this is a value life skill. College will do everything it can to reach it to you, but being ahead of the curve is useful.
  9. I'm from Mobile, Alabama. Nice place, nothing like the inland area. Sunny, pretty, good seafood. I've lived all over the US, though.
  10. I personally like stuff that doesn't have any fragrance to it, and is otherwise very plain. Not so much "MANLY" vs non-manly, but most "girls'" shampoo is scented in some way. Granted, I buy store brand shampoo by the largest, cheapest bottle. And also my hair is really short and I wash it really well, so I'd be surprised if anyone smelled the shampoo one way or another. But more on topic, when I'm back home, I'll use whatever shampoo is in the shower, it all does the same thing.
