Most of my friends say I'm a huge FE nerd. One of my friends was like "how do you play those kind of games without falling asleep?" She likes more action-y games, btw. Many of my friends have said, "I've never heard of/played FE, but the guys are cute." Which I agree on Another of my friend played only FE8, which she said was really easy. I also lent her my PoR game, and gave her tactical advice. She said I was too hardcore when I gave her tactical advice. I learned to never mention "growths", "RNG", or "bases" in front of a non-nerd. The only friend who gave a damn about FE is in Amish country now.

It mostly depends on where I'm at in the game. If I'm pretty far in the game and for some reason I need another unit in my already established party, I'd choose the unit with high bases low growths over the unit with low bases high growths. If it's early in the game, I don't really have a need to have a unit with high bases aside from acting as a meatbag for my weaker units.

On dA somebody claimed that in the Japanese version, Ephraim and Eirika married in their paired ending. I seriously doubt that's true, but as I can barely understand Japanese, can anybody tell me whether it's true or it's BS some chap cooked up?

I can speak English and some Mandarin. Also currently taking French class, though my French is pretty crappy. My friend told me I have a slight Chinese accent when I speak English (for example, I say "brudder" instead of "broTHer"), which is sad considering that I've lived in the US most of my life, and my Mandarin is meh. I'm trying to learn Japanese grammar and vocabulary so I can read the Japanese manga I bought from Kinokuniya. So far, the grammar kinda flew over my head, and the kanji...well, I can understand the characters, but most of the time I don't know how to pronounce the characters in Japanese. Why must most kanji characters have at least two pronunciations?

I tried training Dew, but after seeing that he only did -1 damage and lacked Pursuit, I used him as a utility unit only. At least he was a reliable source of income for Aideen.

Internet Explorer, particularly IE6, tends to 'read' some of the CSS and HTML incorrectly, which will cause massive headaches if you're trying to make the site compatible on multiple browsers. Otherwise, IE is usable for browsing purposes.

I disliked having 3 lords. Not only am I forced to train them all so they don't get screwed over in the final chapter, I have to use up to two slots just to accommodate them, when I could train two other units.

I've been lurking on the forums for a while, and figured "oh, might as well join." Anyway, I've been a Fire Emblem fan for 5 years now, as the FE games stand out as "the games Hoolius can actually play without relying on her crappy reflexes and hand-eye coordination." I can't even aim properly in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess with a Wiimote. I'm currently playing FE4, and I'm currently on the 5th chapter.
