I don't think the original one deserved the level of outcry it received, but what I didn't like about it was the whole, "putting something in her drink without her permission," and "I loved you ever since I saw you as a girl" parts. Both of which have been changed in localization, so in my eyes, even though I'll never end up pairing these two together, this support is a million times better. Also, Xandra was pretty great.

For me it would be: 1- Niles 2- Oboro 3- Saizo 4- Hinata 5- Selena

The little bros' retainers are my favourite :) It's mostly because they involve some of my favourite characters overall though (Oboro and Niles).

I was definitely expecting Shino or something entirely different, but I really like Shiro! This is one of the few name changes I like. Although I guess it's less unique of a name compared to Shinonome.

Actually, what came to mind when I first saw Percy was this:

I would've loved Usagi. Or any of the other anagrams that would've made more sense. Ultimately, it doesn't matter to me much. It kinda feels like treehouse just went with the first anagram they could come up with for the three of them.

I wasn't that attached to Lutz as his name so I'm totally okay with this. In fact, I think Percy is really cute :)

Eponine and Soleil are both french so I don't see why Eponine was too difficult but Soleil is fine. I speak french so I may be wrong but wouldn't Soleil be more difficult to pronounce for non french speaking people? Then again, names like Caeldori are in this game so I guess it's not about pronounciation. Though removing the letter U certainly makes it seem like it is. And I like Forrest just fine, but it'll take forever to get used to. I'm also really glad the other kids kept their original names.

Dwyer and Midori are names I'm actually fine with. I'm still scared for the other kids though. If Gaius isn't Usagi I'll be pretty disappointed

I don't really know what to think of Keaton. It'll take forever to get used to calling him that instead of Flannel. I think Shura is fine though. I do still like Kinu more than Selkie. And lol I'll probably be unsatisfied with whatever Velour's name is.

I guess it was the glitch that I was talking about. And apparently, I found out on Nowinstock that EB Games did open up preorders again back on the 22nd. For fifteen minutes. I've already preordered Conquest and Birthright from Best Buy, so I'm not extremely desperate to get the SE, but I would really like it. However, it seems I have really low chances of actually snagging one. (still crossing my fingers for walmart canada or best buy to restock though, maybe for longer than fifteen minutes if possible)

Ah the joys of preordering from Canada. I keep checking EB Games hoping they'll restock since Gamestop did.

My least favourite is definitely Tsubaki->Subaki. I didn't like it way back when it was first revealed and I still don't like it. Harold->Arthur is also up there for me. Being a history nerd, the removal of historical references irks me for sure. For Zero->Niles, I'm okay with it but I like Zero more. For Eponine->Nina I liked Eponine more and with this change I feel like Ophelia will also be changed to "Lia" or "Leah" or something. The names themselves are fine but it takes away the literature references. I actually kind of like Tsukuyomi->Hayato because I feel like it suits him somehow? I literally laughed out loud when I saw Laslow. I knew Lazward would be changed but really? Lazarus would have been waaay better. Or even Montoya to go with the Princess Bride reference. I like Rhajat but I don't know about Caeldori. Surely there are better anagrams of Cordelia they could have gone with. Lol I wonder what Gaius will be. I 100% expected Pieri to be changed to Peri. Thought as much as soon as her name was first revealed. The idea of Benny being a nickname made me actually like it, even if it's just a headcanon. I liked Belka better than Beruka, I like Azura, Reina and Scarlet but I don't like the shortening of Kaze, Hana, and Mozu and the overall removal of the letter U. I desperately need to know what Flannel will be changed to.

Voted for Oboro and Zero. And woo, Oboro is in the lead for the girls :D

I haven't read them either but there are some pretty cringey supports that made it through in Awakening (ex: Inigo x Nah, Kellam x Nowi, etc), so who really knows? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

There are definitely things that I could see being changed (the Mamui x Soleil support for sure) but for the most part I think there isn't really much to censor aside from aging up the younger characters and probably toning down the incest like people have mentioned. Maybe some of the skinship lines though? Zero's are kinda raunchy. (I'd rather these not be changed too much but, meh I could see it happening)

Exams'll be done by then so that's a date I'm happy with! As much as I'd like for it to come out sooner, I probably won't be able to play until after exams anyway DX

Sakura's is actually my favourite design out of all the royals. She's just so cute! As for her personality, she's really similar to me so I feel like I can relate to her XD

I'm the kind of person that could watch speed paints all day long so this was a real treat! It was really interesting to see his process.

I find it kind of ridiculous that male Kamui/Zero doesn't produce Eponine, the girl obsessed with boy/boy romance. Seems pretty ironic to me. ^This
