  1. Do you seriously believe the samurai were required to fight on foot? And that's nothing impressive.
  2. The Samurai class is a foot swordsman? Come on. At least put them on horses.
  3. Fire Emblem has long had enemy nations ruled and/or conquered by the faction the Lord belongs to. Marth rules most of his continent, Alm and Celica rule Valm, the Judgral games end with either the empire split among the rebels or Seliph ruling all of it, etc.
  4. You all know that most FEs don't let the Lord marry anybody who is the opposite sex? And that 4 are in set pairings (Marth, Alm, Sigurd, Leif), one can't be paired with his birth sister and Altenna without glitching or cheating (Seliph), one only has duo endings with two men (Ike), etc.?
  5. We don't know what the policy for Nohr after Hoshido's victory is. It may be that the royal line is wiped out, Nohr sends reparations, and Hoshido keeps a tight grip on Nohr. The Allies did not leave Germany alone after Hitler's suicide. Have you never heard of dismantlement? Or oversight?
  6. You can ask if it's a good idea to make the Golden Ending DLC. And a path where Kamui joins the faction the monsters belong to wouldn't automatically be tightening his own noose, as he calls it. We don't know what the monsters are out for, both kingdoms could have their share of turncoats, and we don't know about any civilizations besides the two kingdoms. You could frame it as: ''Kamui is disgruntled with both kingdoms and so embraces his draconic side, leading the forces of monsterland against all who oppose them'' Another is: ''The two kingdoms need to be destroyed to end the bloody era. Too much of Hoshido's leadership is spiteful to Nohr; throwing the kingdom's agricultural weight around. Nohr is on a Lebensraum hunting spree, trampling everybody in the way. The monsters are a counter against both kingdoms, both being labeled unfit to lead the next era. Kamui is convinced to join the monster faction, with turncoats and citizens of lands hostile to both kingdoms coming along.''
  7. The point is that just giving Archers 1-3 range or whatever won't fix them. They should be treated as a full out offensive unit like Fighters, but faster.
  8. On the other side, Rolf and Leonardo both didn't have much going for them even with Crossbows, Longbows, a permanent range boost, and the Double Bow. Shinon was really the only foot bowmen worth bringing up.
  9. Come on, NMotE Ryan is the best base Foot Bowman in the series without any gimmicks brought up here. Klein and Igrene weren't bad. Unpromoted Foot Bowmen should just be better at dealing damage, and there should be much more properly dangerous enemies that they are the best equipped to take down.
  10. The bio says Elk (which is another spelling of Erk's name). And the katakana's the same for both the Mage General right before Cecilia and Pent's student.
  11. I'm going to point out that the JP version of Erk's solo epilogue still says that he refused the position of Mage General. Which clashes with Cecilia's bio saying she was trained by the last Mage General (who happened to be Erk) before he retired.
  12. Not really. Unless you call the Blood Pact War shenanigans top-notch.
  13. So what, all of the Nohr siblings renounce the throne for Kamui to sit in it, and join the clergy after doing that? Since that's what Minerva did.And again, Germany after WW2.
  14. You said it's likely that Hoshido won't take over Nohr. And I assure you, ruling a nation and "supervising" it aren't different in practice.
