    Thank you very much for your advice, I'm kinda thinking now: FMU + Laurent Lissa + Libra Sully + Donnel Miriel + Ricken Sumia + Chrom Maribelle + Virion Panne + Lon'qu/Gregor Cordelia + Lon'qu/Gregor Nowi + Vaike Tharja + Gaius Olivia + Stahl Cherche + Henry Do they seem better? I'm not sure who's better for Cordelia and Panne though

    I'm not sure what apo means but this is what I was thinking: FMU + Laurent Lissa + Libra Sully + Vaike Miriel + Ricken Sumia + Chrom Maribelle + Henry Panne + Gregor Cordelia + Stahl Nowi + Kellam Tharja + Gaius Olivia + Virion Cherche + Frederick I'm not sure if they would be decent pairings, so if anybody has better suggestions I'll happily accept them!

    I'm about chapter 5 in my recent runthrough of Awakening, with a FMU who is best at magic, I was wondering what the optimal pairings for the children would be and what skills would be good to pass down to them?

    to be honest I would rather as many supports as possible to experience each character's full personality, however having only a few per character to be able to marry

    I wouldn't mind it at all, particularly if there were no children implemented in afterwards, although I would like there to be more same-sex couples and as people have said, more opposite-sex friendships.

    She means the lack of more suitable trousers in classes like the cavalier class from Fates, rather than them just wearing underwear

    I hope so, it would add something else a bit new to the game - if they did this though I would hope for quite diverse classes, personalities, appearances and definitely slightly more new female classes because I feel Gaiden lacks a gender balance. To be honest as long as the characters they add have personalities as great as the Awakening characters then I will be happy :) By the way, did Gaiden have support conversations? Even if they exclude marriage I think its nice to have just C-A supports to learn more about each character and what they are like

    Actually Fates occurs after Awakening so that makes more sense for them to pop up in there. Personally, as someone who hasn't played the games but has watched them, I feel like compared to fates there are a lot less units, so I think that there should be more magic users inserted into Alm's path and more physical attack-based units into Celica's path. As well as this, although I would not want so many new units that it would feel like a different game all-together, it would be nice to see a few more female, particularly physical attack-based units in both paths (especially Alm's), and an inclusion of Anna would be nice. Although I don't mind children characters I would feel that they would not be a good way of adding new characters into Echoes, as it would just have the Fates treatment again.

    Also does anyone have any good skills on Charlotte, Effie or Keaton? I've got garbage skills on them apart from Astra on Keaton. I know I'm asking for a lot on this thread recently but I've just purchased revelations and am trying to get skills on my new team.

    Having just finished my first playthrough of FE:Fates Birthright on Normal/Classic, I now want to experience the game at a harder difficulty the second time around. However, I had originally started my first playthrough on Hard/Classic and just found it way, way too challenging so even at chapter 5 Sakura, Azura and Kaze ended up dying. I'm not sure whether to play Hard/Classic yet or maybe go for Hard/Casual yet as I'm not the best strategist when playing this game, and wondered if you guys had any advice on this.

    I absolutely adore Mitama, which I didn't expect to do. She is a funny character but some of the poetry she writes is beautiful. Plus she just destroys people on the battlefield, being even better priestess than Sakura in my Birthright run-through. She's quirky, like her father but not as much of a d*ck as him, and also has a perfectly executed personality.
