  1. So theres going to be 3 different manga series for the three different campaigns, When I herd that there was going to be an FE: Fates manga I thought it would focus on one canon route. I wonder if it solves all the issues people here have with the story.

Gameplay, I think it maybe the best in the series, it balances out all the new mechanics that where introduced in Awakening (there is now an advantage and disadvantage to pairing up as opposed to pairing up having almost no draw backs in combat, children units dont make the parent units redundant, lunatic is more balanced). I've only played Hoshido and I thought the story was kinda straight forward, very black and white. Compared to Awakening I thought the story didnt have much content. I'm assuming Invisible Kingdom is the canon story so I will reserve how I feel about the game's story till I play it.
  3. Ah cool, thats pretty much all I wanted to know. Probably play conquest lunatic then IK lunatic when the translation patch comes out.
  4. Whats the difference in difficulty between Conquest, Birthright and the Invisible Kingdom? And does Invisible Kingdom allow grinding without dlc like Birthright? I recently finished the Birthright campaign on lunatic. It was defiantly harder than hard mode awakening, over half way through it started to feel like lunatic difficulty because one wrong step could be gameover, but it didnt feel as cheap or unfair as lunatic on awakening because I could train who I wanted, its more viable to train multiple units rather than just level up 2-3 units and solo the game with them (thats the best was to complete Lunatic and Lunatic+ on awakening without dlc). In my opinion, Lunatic mode on Birthright fixed everything I didnt like about Lunatic mode on awakening, so Im wondering how conquest and the third route fare in comparison, can someone describe their experience without spoilers.

  6. Hi, I've recently discovered when you invite someone who you've already reached rank A support they get additional hearts that you have to fill. Similar thing with you married partner. So im wondering what happens when you fill all the hearts? With my fe spouse when I filled the heart with an exclamation point I got a message saying my relationship is stronger. Does this have an effect on gameplay or is it for the sake of watching a cutscene
  7. yeah its possible, however it requires a specific internet browser update from firmware 7. something. You use 3DNUS to download this update then open it on you 3ds. For more info look up 3DNUS tutorial
  8. Rats, thought once I reach lv 20 I could relcass to dark falcon then reclass back after getting some levels. Thats one thing I really liked about awakening there was no penalty for promoting your class early. When playing hoshido whenever I got a new seal I used it, so that my char could learn some new skills as soon as possible, only to realise later that I ended up screwing them over because now they will reach max lv sooner
  9. Is it possible to get a dread fighter in nhor route or dark falcon in hoshido route? Also what happens when your character is at max lv 20, then uses an item to turn into a dread fighter or dark falcon because I understand a dread fighter has a higher lv cap, so if you reach max level and your stats arent maxed could you reclass into a dark falcon and continue to lv up?
  10. Im thinking Berserkers will be very common online due to their op stats, I've faced them in the campaign (up to chapter 14 Hoshido) they are beasts
  11. I know, I had assassins and warriors because of their ability to wield bows and decent tanks in the front line (dodge tank and regular tank)

  15. Im doing the Hoshido route first so thats a good find, if I pass the guy then I'll keep googling for the english dialogue. I'd appreciate it if anyone posts more information. atm I'd settle for a block of text of the conversations, (thats what I did when legend of kora a leaked in spanish)

Hi, I've been playing the FE Fates english patch which covers the first 12 chapters for both routes, im liking the game a lot and I was wondering if theres anywhere I can just read the dialogue for the campaign. For example chyadosensei has a utube channel where he played FE fates and translated the dialogue as he played but he hasnt posted anything past chapter 6. I was wondering if there was anything like that online.

  18. How would I create the code for all skills? I havent had a chance to test this but referencing the character block in the example in the first post I made the code below, dont know if it will work so I was hoping for some feedback. character slot 1 all skills 20000040 000000FF 20000042 000000FF 20000044 000000FF 20000046 000000FF 20000048 000000FF 2000004A 000000FF 2000004C 000000FF 2000004E 000000FF FE Awakening had a similar logic, where if you max the values in the skills learnt section of the character block that character will have all skills learnt. Im mostly shooting in the dark here and I havent gotten a copy so I cant test this yet

Im Just curious what kind of teams people are building, I havent played it yet but looking at the classes on paper I dont think its balanced so Im wondering what other people's experience tells them. I had a similar problem in Awakening, lunatic mode I had 4 assassins, 2 warriors (mainly because they had the option of using a bow, to bypass counter but stat wise Assassins are much better than any other sword wielding class in almost every way, Berserkers are stronger and faster than warriors but they have quite bit less skill.) When I get the chance to play Fates I imagine just having as many characters as possible be Berserkers and everyone else a magic wielding class, since on paper the Berserker just seems too strong, the Berserker and Brave Hero appear stronger than every class in Hoshido in nearly every way.
  20. I read the description for copycat, it says it can be used once per map, does that mean only one character can use it once per map or each character can use it once per map? sry if its been asked before

  22. if you want your character to have all skills learnt then in the skills section of the character block would you fill the values with 'FF'?
  23. Which route is harder? I herd that Nohr route is harder but is it harder because the levels are tougher or no grinding? If I played Hoshido's path and dont do any grinding is it essentially the same difficulty as Nohr?

Looking at the max stats and skills for the classes doesnt the Nohr classes seem way better than Hoshi's, I mean their berserker and brave hero trumps all of Hoshi's classes in terms of strength, skill and speed. Plus Nohr gets skills such as Lifetaker, Vengence and Galeforce. Reason I bring this up is because I was looking forward to starting of with Hoshi's route so I'm hoping someone would explain the up side to them. Because what good is a couple of 2 or 3 points in skill and speed (which would turn 90% chance to hit to 80% chance to hit) compared to 2-10 points in damage.
